The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, July 30, tease that viewers will see an encore episode that originally aired on February 7, 2008. In the episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Sharon Abbott (Sharon Case) will talk at Crimson Lights.
They’ll be upset over the fact that Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) is living in their home while they are staying at a hotel.
Soon, Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz) will approach Jack and Sharon, wondering about the plans for their company. Jack will say that he has seen some of Amber’s drawings and that he was impressed, but Sharon won’t be as impressed when she views Amber’s sketches.
Jack and Sharon will leave to go to the Abbott mansion to pick up some things.
Meanwhile, at the Abbott mansion, Jeffrey Bardwell (Ted Shackleford) will tell Gloria that he’s going to spend $500K on a jet. Gloria won’t like Jeffrey’s frivolous spending.
Later, Jeffrey will be out for a run when Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) arrives to see Gloria. Gloria will note that Jeffrey is behaving oddly, and Kevin will think that perhaps Jeffrey is actually falling in love with Gloria.
Kevin will instruct Gloria to start taking the poison in small doses, so that it will be in her bloodstream once they try to frame Jeffrey. Gloria will be afraid, but she’ll finally agree to take a little bit of the poison.
Suddenly, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will show up, wanting to know what they’re planning. Michael will see the poison and assume it’s for Jeffrey.
Michael will warn Gloria against her scheme, whatever it may be. After Michael goes, Kevin will leave as well, and Gloria will be about to take some of the poison when Jeffrey returns. Gloria and Jeffrey will start to argue, and they’ll be mid-argument when Sharon and Jack walk in.
Over with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow, he and Noah Newman (Hunter Allan) will prepare for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and JT Hellstrom’s (Thad Luckinbill) wedding.
Noah will have noticed that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is upset with Nick, but Nick will tell Noah that things will blow over soon. Upstairs at the ranch, Victoria will have just tried on her gown.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will survey the scene downstairs at the ranch, and she’ll be happy with the decoration and the ambiance for the wedding.
Victor will tell Nikki that he hopes that Victoria’s marriage ends up better than theirs did. Nikki will point out that Victor doesn’t seem to be remembering all of their good memories.
Later, as the wedding nears, Victor will thank JT for making Victoria happy, and he’ll welcome JT to the Newman family. JT will go upstairs and give Victoria a special present – a charm bracelet.
Later, Victoria will show the bracelet to Nikki, who will say that she’ll be able to add more charms to it over the years as she experiences more special events. Nikki and Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) will help Victoria get ready, with Katherine giving Victoria a borrowed blue ring.
Victor will make a secret call to a doctor about Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman), then he’ll excuse himself as Nick, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and Noah arrive.
Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) will arrive as well, but he’ll take off immediately when he learns that Victoria and JT are about to get married. Soon, Victoria will take her father’s arm, saying that she’s ready to get married.
