The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, December 1, tease that it’ll be a big day for the CBS soap. It’ll mark the 12,000th episode of Y&R, so that’s quite an accomplishment! Fans have been treated to tons of relationship highs and lows over the years, so this episode will bring some great blasts from the past.
Monday’s episode brings some flashbacks as well, but Tuesday will really kick things up a notch and make this a show to remember! Romance will be the main theme – especially since Tuesday also happens to be Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor’s (Justin Gaston) wedding day.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby will conquer her insecurities with Chance’s help and get ready to become his wife. It won’t be long until Abby forgets about her doubts and just focuses on all the love in the room. Abby and Chance are obviously wild about each other, but there’ll be plenty of love flowing from their nearest and dearest as well.
Y&R viewers will hear some heartfelt vows once Abby heads down the aisle. Although some fans would’ve preferred to have Donny Boaz back as Chance for the wedding, he was still in quarantine when the nuptials were filmed.
Thankfully, Gaston has been doing a fantastic job filling in – and as a bonus, he can actually kiss the bride! Since Gaston and Ordway are married in real life, there’s no need to worry about social distancing.
That’ll add a certain realistic element to the ceremony that otherwise would’ve been missing. We’ll see a smooch to seal the deal as Chance and Abby officially tie the knot. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance and Abby’s wedding will leave several guests thinking about their romantic pasts – and maybe even their futures.
Although Tuesday marks the real 12,000th episode milestone, Y&R will celebrate with some special nods to the past all week long. Y&R viewers will see some great stuff, so be sure to tune in! As other news and updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
