The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, September 9, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will find herself feeling cornered. Will Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) come around to deliver some threats?
Chelsea will undoubtedly feel like it’s more important than ever to find Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), so she may seek updates from Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz).
Of course, that could put Chance in a tight spot due to some recent developments. In Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Chance finds Adam and tries to get to the bottom of his weird behavior lately. When Sharon shows up, Chance mistakenly assumes she’s having an affair with Adam – and Adam doesn’t correct him.
Chance also assures Adam that he won’t tell Chelsea, but is that a promise he can keep? Wednesday’s episode may put Chance and Adam’s friendship to the test! Although Chance may not make a confession about what he believes is happening, Chelsea could still pick up on some clues that point to a Sharon and Adam scandal.
Regardless, all of this is quickly spiraling out of control. That goes for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as well since they’ll spar over Adam on Wednesday. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will be a source of contention, so Nikki may be upset over Victor’s refusal to give up on his son.
Nikki feels like they need to focus on Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) now, but Victor may not see why they can’t focus on both his son and grandson. They both need Victor – at least as far as Victor’s concerned. This could lead to an argument with Nikki, who may insist that Victor needs to let Adam go once and for all.
Next, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will take charge of a situation. Y&R fans know Phyllis recently became suspicious when she saw Chance and Alyssa together. It’s possible Phyllis will take matters into her own hands by seeking Alyssa out and trying to secure more info.
Then again, Phyllis taking charge could refer to Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) escape at The Grand Phoenix. This may be something Phyllis personally oversees and even changes course on if Victoria’s night isn’t going as well as expected.
Phyllis takes this escape club quite seriously and wants to make sure each member’s experience is exactly what it should be.
We can’t help but notice Theo Vanderway’s (Tyler Johnson) issues with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) are getting worse – right as his former flirting partner’s about to check in.
Will Victoria’s escape come with a steamy Theo curveball? Trouble could be just around the corner if The Young and the Restless decides to let Theo and Victoria let loose!
