The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of January 4-8 teases that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will make a emotional confession. While on the phone with her birth mother, Amanda will reveal who she is and what she hopes to gain.
“Do I know you?” Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) wonders during the call on next week’s promo. Amanda explains she’s the daughter who wasn’t given to Naya’s cousin, Rose Turner. As Amanda breaks down in tears, she insists she’d very much like to meet Naya.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will make a difficult decision in the week ahead, so meeting her biological mother would qualify. Amanda has a lot of issues with her birth mom and knows she may not get the answers she’s looking for.
Nevertheless, Amanda will feel like she has to hear Naya’s side of the story, so she’ll push for a meeting and hope Naya accepts.
While Amanda tries to make the arrangements, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will form plans of her own. Summer’s concerns about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be on the rise, so she’ll think she has to get a better grip on Sally’s past.
“I need to know more about Sally’s story,” Summer tells Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in a new weekly preview clip. “I need to know what I’m really up against.” When Kyle asks what Summer’s going to do, Summer replies that she’s going to pack her best Forrester outfits and head to LA!
Of course, this fits with what CDL already predicted about a fun crossover on The Bold and the Beautiful. B&B spoilers say Sally’s old rival, Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden), will be offered the chance to get revenge on Sally.
There’s talk of some new faces showing up in The Bold and the Beautiful’s 2021 preview info, so that could mean more than just Summer.
Kyle might be tempted to tag along and make sure Summer doesn’t go too far in her latest Sally mission. Whatever the case, Summer’s plan will hit some snags and cause plenty of Y&R drama. The Young and the Restless spoilers say an even bigger mess is on the way, so stay tuned for some great twists.
