The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of October 5-9 teases that we’ll see some tough predicaments and shocking decisions. For starters, let’s talk about Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and what a mess she’ll be when she comes home from the clinic, where she just betrayed Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Elena will clearly be on edge, so Devon will pick up on her discomfort. When Devon asks if something happened at the clinic tonight, Elena will stay tight-lipped about cheating. Instead, Elena will end up ranting about “little orphan Amanda” and the walks down memory lane Devon keeps taking with her.
Of course, Y&R spoilers say Devon will offer reassurance as usual. He’ll want Elena to see that he considers Amanda to be family…like Nate. That statement should hit Elena pretty hard considering she just went behind Devon’s back with Nate at the clinic!
Elena will break down in tears and tell Devon she’s so sorry, but he won’t think she has anything to be sorry for. Sadly, Elena will head to bed without coming clean, so she could be digging a bigger hole for herself.
Across town, it’ll be showtime for Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) baby boy. Chloe will eventually appear with her packed bag at the Chancellor mansion. She’ll inform Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) that this baby is NOT being born on those stairs!
That’s a nod to how Chloe herself came into the world, but she’ll refuse to let this become a family tradition. While Kevin and Chloe prepare for their bundle of joy, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will ask Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to move back in.
Although Sharon will be nervous about her surgery, she’ll put some faith in her future – both her own and the one she wants with Rey.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will land in a tight spot. After Chelsea takes a surprising trip, she’ll find herself trapped and in a panic.
“Hellooooooo!!!!!” Chelsea shouts in the weekly preview video. “Is anybody out there?!” Chelsea bangs on what appears to be the door of a darkened elevator, so some trouble’s brewing.
