TLC 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days spoilers tease that David Murphey is determined to get answers from his Ukrainian love Lana. As viewers are aware, David has been in an online “relationship” with Lana for seven years now. David and Lana have been messaging each other and they’ve gotten to know each other quite well. David is absolutely convinced that Lana is a real person, and no one had better tell him differently.
As viewers will remember, David’s friend Jim tried to tell him that there was a good chance that Lana was fake, but David scoffed at that, saying that he knew that Lana was real – after all, what were his thousands of hours of conversations with Lana about?
Then David’s private investigator shared that he thought Lana was a scammer, and David about hit the roof. Angry David emerged, and he took out his frustrations on the woman translating the conversation.
Well, we have to admit that David has a point when he gets angry about people saying that Lana isn’t real. After all, David’s been talking to somebody all this time, but whether or not she’s a person named Lana who looks like the person in the photos he’s got of her remains to be seen.
We think that David just wants some answers at this point about what’s going on with Lana – who she really is, why she’s lied to him, why she’s strung him along, and so forth.
As we’ve theorized before, we suspect that there may indeed be a real person behind the Lana facade. We don’t necessarily believe that this person’s motives are pure and that she has real feelings for David, but someone must be behind David’s seven years of correspondence with the woman he thinks is Lana.
And since the producers have made it seem like it’s all a big scam, we think there could be a big bombshell coming that Lana is indeed real.
Well, it seems that David may be back on the path to tracking down some more information about Lana as he apparently heads back to the Ukraine. The previews for next Sunday’s all-new episode of Before The 90 Days shows David looking pretty determined and headed back to the airport.
Since David didn’t like the information that the Ukrainian private investigator turned up on Lana, it looks like he’s headed back to the Ukraine himself for answers.
Hopefully, this time David will take a more direct approach and look for solid answers, rather than roaming the streets hoping to bump into Lana. Perhaps David needs to get a new private investigator – someone he can work directly with on the ground to track down Lana’s whereabouts.
One thing’s for sure – David’s going to have to find some pretty serious evidence showing that Lana is a serial scammer in order to believe that his relationship with her wasn’t authentic.
Right now, David still believes that the reason Lana’s picture was used in multiple places online is because the “real” Lana’s picture got copied and used by someone else.
David’s good about fitting evidence into his story that Lana is real and is devoted only to him, so it’s probably good for him to be going back to the Ukraine and hunting down answers himself. Otherwise, David probably wouldn’t believe the evidence!
