Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a Belle Brady (Martha Madison) lookalike will land in bed with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), so will this be the devil’s revenge on Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) daughter?
Days fans know Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) asked Belle for help getting power of attorney back, which led to Julie checking Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) out of Bayview. Now Doug has just exposed Marlena as the devil, so that’ll force a change of plans.
Marlena will go off on a wild adventure with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal), but their trip to a secluded cabin will come to an end sooner or later. Ciara and Ben will eventually get updates on the possession, so then what?
The devil isn’t finished in Salem yet, but he can’t be roaming around town in the form of Marlena once everyone knows the truth. However, we’ve already seen that the devil can change his appearance in this story – like when Susan Banks (Deidre Hall) looked like Eileen Davidson’s version of Kristen DiMera.
We also know the devil is apparently attracted to handsome younger men since possessed Marlena kissed undead Nick Fallon (Blake Berris) in the cemetery. With all this in mind, the devil may use some trickery to look like Belle, seduce Shawn and get back at Marlena’s daughter for going against her Doug decision.
DOOL’s winter preview features Belle walking in on Shawn in bed with someone who looks just like her. Belle demands to know who she is – and the Belle lookalike pretends to not know who Belle is either.
That’ll no doubt leave Shawn confused, but it could also set up a great moment where the devil morphs back into Marlena’s form. Just imagine Belle’s expression if she realizes her possessed mom’s in bed with Shawn!
Of course, it’s also possible the devil will enter Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) for a bit and shake things up. Jan could take on the form of Belle if Days writers want to throw in that little twist.
Regardless, there can’t be two Belles! The one who attempts to sleep with Shawn won’t be the real deal, so it’ll likely be the devil in one form or another.
