Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) may defend a new Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) engagement. She could find herself in a position where she has to justify this bold move to Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).
After Ciara comes home and demands that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) sign a new copy of the divorce papers, Ben will drag his feet. He may wonder why Ciara’s in such a hurry when she could still get her memories back.
Of course, Ciara doesn’t know if her memories will ever return and doesn’t think it’ll make a difference if they do. She’s been adamant that she doesn’t want to be married to Ben, so she’ll think that alone is enough of a reason to divorce.
Nevertheless, Days spoilers confirm Ciara has another significant reason behind divorcing Ben ASAP.
There are also new spoilers about Theo struggling to spread some big news – and then we’ve got spoilers on Ciara having to rush to her own defense with Claire and Shawn.
Theo may have popped the question – or at least agreed to a marriage suggestion if it was Ciara’s idea.
Either way, all the latest DOOL info makes it seem like Ciara will have to defend a new engagement. It’s easy to see why Shawn and Claire would object under the circumstances.
For starters, Ciara hasn’t actually divorced Ben yet and is still a married woman. Like Ben, Shawn and Claire will hold out hope that Ciara’s memories might return.
There are no guarantees, but Claire and Shawn won’t want Ciara to lock herself into a new marriage so soon.
Shawn and Claire will worry about what’ll happen if Ciara marries Theo and then wants Ben back following a memory flood. Days spoilers suggest Theo could get hurt – and Ciara could turn into an emotional wreck over all this.
This would be too fast even if it didn’t involve amnesia since Ciara and Theo weren’t technically in a relationship when they left. They were just going to play it by ear and let their connection further develop.
Things apparently went well in South Africa – perhaps well enough to make plans for a new marriage! It makes sense for Ciara to use this as her motivation for pressuring Ben – and it explains why she’d be defending herself to Claire and Shawn, too.
Shawn and Claire think Ben is a good guy who deserves his happily ever after, so they’ll be rooting for him despite Ciara’s potential new engagement. We’ll offer updates as other Days details emerge.
