Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, October 4, tease that EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) hot night will begin while Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) pie helps Abe Carver (James Reynolds) propose. Panic will also erupt over Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) at the hospital, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
For starters, Abe will finally get in touch with Chanel and get her blessing. Abe wants to ask Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) to marry him, so Chanel should be all for it. Paulina can be a bit over the top, so Chanel may admit Abe keeps her mom more grounded. Plus, Abe and Paulina make each other happy, which is all Chanel could ever hope for.
Once Abe confirms Chanel is on board with this engagement, he’ll seek her help to pull it off. Days spoilers say Abe will want to put Chanel’s baking skills to good use. He’ll convince Chanel to make Paulina’s favorite pie, so that could become a vehicle for the gorgeous ring he plans to offer.
Regardless, Chanel will come through on the pie and may tell a few fibs to ensure the romantic setup happens as planned. Meanwhile, Paulina and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will do some reminiscing. They may discuss both good memories and bad, but the main thing here is that Lani and Paulina will be connecting.
Days spoilers say Lani will be glad to have the relationship they have now. She’ll be all about looking to the future, but Paulina will continue to struggle with the dangerous secrets of the past. Part of Paulina will still wish she could come clean, but another part of her knows it’d be a disaster if Lani found out the truth about her mother and father.
At the hospital, possessed Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will carry out a new plan – or at least try to. Marlena just knocked Julie out cold, but Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) will try to stop her from harming Julie any further.
Doug will worry that Marlena could kill Julie if he can’t get some help in there ASAP, so possessed Marlena will have to cover when Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) indeed rushes in. The devil will manipulate the situation to keep his evil scheme in play, but at least Julie’s life will be spared.
As for confident EJ, he’ll be more than ready for his date with Nicole. After EJ picks Nicole up, they’ll head out for a night on the town. DOOL fans can expect Nicole and EJ to have a good time, but some snags are coming up before this evening winds down.
