Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, September 16, tease that Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will surrender his Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) script to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) while Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) undergoes some mental tests at the hospital. Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will also confess to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
First, Johnny will be excited to speak with Will about the Sami Brady story.
Will previously worked on the script out in Hollywood before the project apparently fell through, but Johnny will hope to pick it back up – and he’ll want to use this script as a starting point.
Once Will gets updates on Johnny’s budding film career, he’ll agree to hand over the screenplay and let Johnny see what he can do with it.
This is all a setup for the new version of the possession storyline that’s looming, so the puzzle pieces will start sliding into place.
Meanwhile, Doug will have some mental health tests done to see if he might have Alzheimer’s. Days spoilers say Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will guide Doug through these tests and try to get to the bottom of his memory lapses.
It appears there’s a possession connection here as well since Doug is likely possessed himself – or at least he has some form of an evil spirit inside him that could ultimately be transferred to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
Kayla may be baffled when the tests don’t yield much information. That could be why Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will turn to Marlena for assistance in the coming episodes.
For now, Doug will undergo these tests and worry about what the future holds. As for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), they’ll focus on the future of Sweet Bits Bakery – and they’ll certainly think it’s bright after their grand opening event.
It turns out it was a smashing success, so that’ll give Allie and Chanel a reason to celebrate.
Johnny and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will eventually join in the celebration, so that’ll give Johnny a chance to pitch his latest idea to Allie.
Days spoilers say Johnny will want Allie to play Sami in his movie, but she’ll have some concerns – and those concerns are only going to grow stronger as time goes on.
As for Paulina, she’ll turn to Marlena as a trusted confidant. DOOL spoilers say Paulina will confess a secret during their conversation, so it’ll be interesting to hear just how much she spills.
It’s possible Paulina will simply allude to something huge that could trip up her relationship with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) – or perhaps the secret could be the marriage talk they recently had.
Then again, it’d be a good idea to put the Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) bio daughter secret in Marlena’s hands.
Since Marlena is on the verge of being possessed and wreaking havoc, it’d be smart for her to know Paulina’s shocker for drama’s sake.
Whatever the case, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Paulina will open up to Marlena and get some advice.
