Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 19, teases that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will play with fire while John Black (Drake Hogestyn) seeks possession proof. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will also face a romantic twist as she pursues Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Now that Johnny has Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) blessing, he’ll be all set for movie magic. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) refused to sign the contract until Marlena approved of the flick – and she didn’t have high hopes for that actually happening.
Of course, Johnny will be pretty smug when he goes back to Allie and reveals how supportive Marlena was.
Despite her confusion, Allie should sign her contract as promised – and that’ll put Johnny a step closer to making his new film. It should be time to start shooting this movie soon enough.
Days spoilers say Johnny will be taking a big risk since he’s basically inviting the devil to cause chaos.
Something tells us that comment Marlena made about the front-row premiere seats will be important. The devil could put on quite a show once that premiere date rolls around, but Johnny has to make the film first!
As for John, he’ll approach Marlena in her bedroom and notice she seems even less like herself. Marlena will trade her usual formal attire for something more casual – and she’ll sport a pair of sunglasses to hide her glowing eyes at one point.
DOOL spoilers say John will begin to develop some possession suspicions, so he’ll tell Marlena to take the sunglasses off. He’ll be looking for that familiar evil glow, but he won’t get the confirmation he’s after just yet.
John will realize he’ll have to prove Marlena’s possessed another way – though he’ll no doubt hope he’s wrong.
John will rummage around Marlena’s office later this week, but there’ll be plenty of other drama going down until then. Days spoilers state that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will be down in the dumps over Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) moving out.
Philip will worry a full-blown breakup is brewing, but Kate and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) may offer some hope.
Kate may think Philip needs to stop feeling sorry for himself and fight for the woman he loves. Lucas may also push Philip to stop getting in his own way.
Philip’s own jealousy has been his downfall in his latest reunion with Chloe, but there’s still a chance for him to turn things around.
However, Brady is indeed hung up on Chloe and appears to be making subtle plays for her despite his denials.
Chloe just doesn’t seem to understand that Brady bears some blame in all this. That could make the situation tricky for Philip as he tries to avoid a Chloe split.
As for Brady, he’ll make yet another bold move by offering Chloe a place to live. Brady may think she should move in with him, but the Salem Inn should become Chloe’s new home – at least until she can figure out whether to cut ties with Philip or patch things up.
Back with Kate, she’ll be surprised when Roman isn’t his typical bubbly self. Roman will still be licking his wounds from Katie’s latest rejection, so he’ll keep his walls up.
Days spoilers say Roman’s behavior will lead to Kate’s lightbulb moment. She’ll find herself wondering why she’s dragging her feet since the lingering love between them is mutual.
Kate will be taking a gamble by putting her heart on the line again, but she knows Roman is a good guy. Sometimes true love is worth the risk, so let’s hope that’s the case for Kate and Roman this time around.
