Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, March 16, teases that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will be pulled out of lockup for a visit with her ex in the interrogation room.
Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will want the real scoop straight from Sami, so he’ll push her to come clean about the night Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) was killed.
Although Sami may not want to confess at first, Lucas knows Sami better than anyone and will sense that she’s hiding something. It should take some convincing, but Sami will eventually let her guard down with Lucas and explain how she landed in this mess as a top murder suspect.
DOOL viewers will see Sami flash back to when she showed up at Charlie’s door. There’ll be some new scenes to show how Sami messed with the proof in this case. Belle Brady (Martha Madison) already insisted Sami must be protecting someone – and on Tuesday, Days fans will see who it is.
It’s hard to imagine Sami taking the fall for anyone except Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). As Sami walks Lucas through the events of that night, she may reveal why she believes Allie is guilty.
If Sam heard the gunshot and then saw Allie leaving Charlie’s apartment building, those would be some great reasons to tamper with the evidence and make the situation too messy to trace back to Allie.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will arrive at the hospital to check on Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) – and she’ll seem incredibly guilty when she speaks with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) in the waiting area. That further backs up the idea that Sami’s covering for Allie.
It makes sense that DOOL writers will show Allie exhibiting signs of guilt while Sami reveals a story of Allie’s guilt to Lucas. However, the first few suspects in a murder mystery usually aren’t the right ones!
Based on down-the-road Days of Our Lives spoilers, Sami’s making trouble for herself when Allie isn’t even really to blame. There’s some confusion about that night that’ll be exposed later, so stay tuned to see who else might be responsible for Charlie’s death.
Next, let’s talk about Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and some tough setbacks he’s about to face. As Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) tries to share more about Ciara’s condition, Ben will have a hard time breathing.
It looks like Ben will be on the verge of collapse, so he’ll need to rest on an exam table with an oxygen mask on.
While Ben takes deep breaths, it seems he may drift off to sleep. There’ll be some sweet scenes where Ciara opens her eyes and gazes at Ben adoringly. Ben will lean in for a passionate kiss as Ciara clutches his arm and leans in as well.
Since this kiss will apparently be reciprocated and enjoyed, it fits with the idea of a dream reunion for Ben and Ciara.
That’s because Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will actually battle some memory loss upon awakening. Ciara’s mind will revert back to 2018, so she won’t recall Ben picking her up following her motorcycle crash and taking care of her at the cabin.
In other words, Ciara won’t remember falling in love with Ben or the fact that he’s now her husband. It’ll be wiped from Ciara’s brain, so Ben will still be a serial killer from her perspective.
Of course, this may not be something that’s immediately evidence based on Ciara’s interactions with her loved ones.
While Ben’s getting oxygen following his smoke inhalation issues, it seems Ciara will have a chance to chat with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). Ciara may admit she doesn’t remember what exactly happened to land her in the hospital, but Shawn may think it’s just due to the recent trauma.
Since Ciara will still know Shawn’s her brother, he might feel like it’s only the explosion she can’t remember. Perhaps Shawn will keep things light and insist all that matters now is that Ciara’s all right. It seems Ciara may drift off to sleep once again since she’ll be exhausted after her ordeal.

Ben and Ciara’s reunion will go horribly wrong, so she’ll cry out for help once Wednesday, March 17, rolls around. Ciara’s on the verge of a meltdown, so we’ll see if Tuesday’s cliffhanger brings the first sign of terror or if Days saves that for the next episode.
