Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday, June 9 Recap – Nicole Saves Email Confession to Eric – Sami’s Spy Scheme

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 9, reveals that Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) saved a dangerous email confession to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) while Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) tried to push Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) into a new spy scheme. Here’s how it all played out on Wednesday’s DOOL episode.

At the hospital, Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) revealed that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was the daughter of his best friend. He pointed out that Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) was pushing pills and forcing Gwen to be his drug mule, which Dr. Snyder denied.

However, Xander insisted he wasn’t a cop and didn’t care if Dr. Snyder was running an illegal drug ring. He just needed Dr. Snyder to leave Gwen out of it and asked if the doc understood. Dr. Snyder argued that Xander was the one who needed to understand.

Dr. Snyder suggested this was a mutually beneficial arrangement and that Gwen had to keep making deliveries if she wanted him to keep the secret about her miscarriage. Dr. Snyder refused to go into the details, but he assured Xander he wasn’t intimidated by him.

Xander grabbed Dr. Snyder forcefully and once again pushed him to leave Gwen alone – or else Dr. Snyder would be the one in serious need of painkillers. Dr. Snyder looked perturbed as Xander ripped his hospital gown off and stormed out.

At the Horton house, Gwen assumed Xander was the one who alerted Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) to the Dr. Snyder trouble.

After Kayla revealed it was someone else who witnessed a threatening interaction, Gwen realized it must’ve been Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) instead. Gwen assured Kayla that everything was fine, but Kayla pushed her to get in touch if she ever felt uncomfortable.

After Kayla left, Dr. Snyder called Gwen and pushed her to get Xander to back off or else his next call would be to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).

Once Gwen disconnected on Wednesday’s Days episode, Xander appeared. He felt like he did Gwen a favor, but Gwen didn’t want Xander riling Dr. Snyder up and making things worse.

Xander mentioned the secret about Gwen’s miscarriage, but she lashed out and warned him not to bring that up ever again. Nevertheless, Xander thought Dr. Snyder was making the pain of Gwen’s loss worse. If Gwen decided she wanted Xander’s help, he insisted she should just let him know.

Back with Dr. Snyder, he was questioned by Kayla when she couldn’t find Gwen’s file in the system. Dr. Snyder contended there was nothing out of the ordinary, but Kayla pulled the chief of staff card and still wanted to see it.

Dr. Snyder covered by claiming he hadn’t put it in the system yet, but he vowed to get on that ASAP.

After Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) got a notification about the alarm going off at her new apartment, she parted ways with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and rushed home. Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) was confused over the blueprint she found for the Horton Town Square changes.

It seemed like it was going to be one big building, but Paulina claimed her assistant just messed up and mislabeled the plans.

Talk turned to Chanel’s approved application and how much she wanted to make this dream of hers a success. Paulina expressed doubt about Chanel’s ability to commit, but Chanel made a passionate speech and insisted she’d have her bestie’s help.

Chanel mentioned her BFF providing her family’s doughnut recipe and wanted to offer her own grandma’s sweet potato pie at the bakery, too. She decided to get supplies from the store to make one, but she gave Paulina a sweet kiss on the cheek before she left.

Paulina seemed guiltier than ever and nearly confessed once Chanel returned. Chanel talked about how she needed the tough love that Paulina offered and appreciated it.

Paulina had something to tell Chanel, but she ultimately chickened out and just said she was proud of her daughter. Paulina argued that Sweet Bits would be the biggest thing to ever hit Salem.

At Julie’s Place on Wednesday’s Days episode, Nicole composed an email to Eric since she couldn’t reach him by phone. Nicole was so sorry to tell Eric like this, but she typed out that she slept with Xander.

Before Nicole could send the email, Abe appeared and joined her at the table. Nicole admitted to writing an email that could end her marriage if she sent it. She was having a rough time since Eric had been gone for so long.

Nicole quizzed Abe about his long-lasting marriage to Lexie Carver (Renée Jones) and wondered how he got past Lexie’s betrayal. She wondered if it’d been better if Abe had been left in the dark.

Abe felt like it all boiled down to the fact that Lexie was the love of his life. He didn’t want to be with anyone else and felt like if Lexie had kept her affair a secret, the lie would’ve destroyed their marriage.

Once Nicole was alone again, she hovered over “send” on her laptop before deciding she couldn’t go through with it. Nicole saved the cheating confession to her drafts folder instead.

At the townhouse, Sami wanted Lucas to wear a wire and pry an admission of guilt out of Nicole. Lucas refused and felt like Sami was projecting her own cheating guilt by fixating on Nicole’s betrayal.

Sami eventually conceded that Lucas was right and added that she struggled to look at herself in the mirror.

Lucas suggested maybe Sami should just come clean to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), but she didn’t think EJ would ever forgive her. She also didn’t understand how she could cheat on EJ when she loved him.

“Maybe you’re also in love with me,” Lucas said. He felt like his chemistry with Sami was still there and wasn’t going away.

Lucas argued that EJ had been shutting Sami out, but Sami had to believe he would come around. Lucas wondered what would happen if EJ didn’t and pointed out it took two people to make a marriage work. He pushed Sami to give their own relationship another shot.

After they wound up bickering, Sami suggested they didn’t do happily after very well. However, Lucas felt what they had was magic. He was willing to do “crazily ever after” instead and didn’t care as long as he was with Sami.

Suddenly, there was a knock at the door, which left Sami wondering if it was EJ. Lucas brushed off the possibility and felt like Sami was just being paranoid again.

Sami suggested Lucas was right, but she opened the door to find EJ standing in front of her. After Sami blurted out EJ’s name, he smiled sweetly at her.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say EJ will catch Sami off guard when he reveals his new goals, so stay tuned to DOOL. CDL will have other thrilling Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news, so stop by again soon.
