Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of August 16-20 teases that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will face a mom bomb while Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) sizzle following their reunion. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will also have scenes in bed with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams), so her love life’s about to get even messier!
We should note that DOOL’s promo department apparently goofed and released this preview a bit too early, but Days fans certainly aren’t complaining! There’s some great action coming up based on the clips they’ve included.
For starters, Paulina will get a big surprise when her mother shows up on her doorstep. Marla Gibbs is set to make her debut as Olivia Price on August 17 – and she’ll definitely make a grand entrance.
“Are you gonna invite your mama in?” Olivia demands to know in DOOL’s weekly preview video. Paulina asks if she has a choice before she reluctantly lets Olivia inside.
There’ll definitely be tension between Paulina and her mother, but Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will offer Olivia a warm hug later.
Of course, it just wouldn’t be Days without another buried secret to uncover. Paulina will get a stern warning from Olivia, who’ll make it clear that her daughter needs to keep her mouth shut about something.
“If you think you’re gonna tell that child the truth, you’ve got another thing coming,” Olivia declares in the promo.
The “child” here seems to be Lani based on how the preview video is edited together, but what does Olivia think should remain a secret?
There could be some truth to the theory that perhaps Paulina is Lani’s biological mother, but we’ll just have to see how things play out.
In the meantime, Ciara will get steamy with Ben following the return of her memories.
Ben and Ciara will come together for some passion that’s red hot, so “Cin” fans had better buckle up!
The promo also features Allie looking awkward in bed with Tripp on one side and Chanel on the other.
It seems likely that Allie will have a dream that highlights her lingering desire for Chanel as more than a friend.
Despite Allie’s commitment to Tripp, she just won’t be able to get Chanel out of her head.
