General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will fear for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) while he’s on the run. The goal is to clear Jason’s name as soon as possible so he can get back home and help Carly handle Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Jason’s absence will definitely be felt since Cyrus seems to view Carly as far less of a threat.
Of course, Cyrus could be underestimating Carly, who certainly held her own at the five families meeting. However, Cyrus appears to view Carly as someone whose bark is worse than her bite.
Although Carly may have the upper hand for now, Cyrus is no doubt plotting ways to retaliate and make Carly regret her latest moves.
Even so, General Hospital spoilers state that Carly will press her luck since she really has no other choice. She can’t leave Jason on the lam with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) indefinitely – and there’s no one else Jason can really count on to clear his name.
The key to getting Jason off the hook is still Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) as far as Carly’s concerned, so look for Carly to make a bold move soon.
During the week of May 17-21, General Hospital fans will see Carly set up a crucial meeting with Gladys.
Carly will hope for a sit-down with the “eyewitness” of Jason’s case – and she’ll probably try to do it on the sly if possible. General Hospital spoilers say this is Carly’s chance to get sneaky and do some negotiating behind Cyrus’ back.
Carly knows Gladys is greedy and could perhaps shift her allegiance for a price. Since Carly is desperate, she just might summon Gladys and tell her to name one! Carly may push Gladys to tell her what it is she really wants and offer to grant all her wishes.
There’s nothing Carly wouldn’t do for Jason, so she’ll be willing to do whatever it takes for his freedom – even if that means negotiating with Gladys and trying to strike a deal.
Unfortunately, Carly’s move could backfire if she’s not careful. Turning Gladys against Cyrus could end in disaster if Cyrus kills Gladys for it.
There could be a big problem if Carly makes a deal with Gladys and then Gladys ends up dead before she can change her statement! Whatever the case, Carly will be playing with fire.
