General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) has some tough moments in his future. GH fans know Franco’s brain tumor is back, which means it could bring out his sinister side once again.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are certainly concerned about that possibility – and soon, the rest of Port Charles should be, too.
Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is set to publish an unsettling article, and GH’s weekly preview video suggests it’s an exposé on Franco. That fits with upcoming General Hospital spoilers about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) putting Peter on full blast.
Britt’s not going to be pleased when she realizes what Peter did with Franco’s stolen medical records!
The article will undoubtedly detail how Franco’s tumor has returned and could make him a threat again. Peter might even decide to tackle his Drew Cain (Billy Miller) problem head-on and make it seem like the memory-mapping has further scrambled Franco’s brain.
If Franco were to turn dark, it would surely make things worse for him to have a soldier’s mentality on top of that.
It’s all in how you frame it, so Peter should work to make Franco seem dangerous on every level. He might hope that Jason takes care of business before Franco remembers too much and spills something that incriminates him.
Here’s where things get interesting: General Hospital spoilers say Franco will vanish in the coming weeks.
Franco wouldn’t just take off without telling Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) where he’s going, so it seems far more likely that Franco will be kidnapped.
It’s possible Jason will hold Franco hostage until he can decide whether he’s a true threat, but that honestly doesn’t seem like Jason’s style.
Jason is more the type to just pump the bullet and be done with it, but he remains a kidnapping contender.
As a second suspect, Peter could see the walls closing in at some point and determine that he has to make a desperate move.
We could definitely imagine Peter holding Franco captive if all else fails, so he’s an option to consider.
However, there might be a third suspect based on some hints the show’s offered along with some GH buzz. Kim Nero (last played by Tamara Braun) was mentioned just before Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) exit – and GH fans learned she had a baby named “Andrew” aka Andy.
Although Kim told her nanny that Julian was the father, the truth may be more complicated. Kim slept with Franco while he was memory-mapped into believing he was Drew, so he may be the “baby daddy” instead.
What happens if Kim gets updates on Franco’s Drew memories coming back? If Kim thinks there’s a chance to be a family with Franco and little Andy, she just might take it by force!
Now that Kim has been brought up again, a recast seems likely – and GH buzz backs that up, too. Suspicions may swirl around Jason after Franco’s disappearance, but maybe it’ll be Kim who swoops in for the steal.
