General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) has been busy lately, and it looks like there will be much more action coming her way. As GH viewers know, Jackie is pretty sure that Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) is being held somewhere in Vermont by Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and she’s pretty close to the truth on that point.
Actually, it was Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) who was the instigator in Florence’s kidnapping, but now Jason has taken over the situation. And now that Jackie is on the case, she’s not going to stop until she finds Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) and Martin Grey’s (Michael E. Knight) mother.
Well, as GH viewers know, Martin has insisted that he travel with Jackie to Vermont to track down Florence. Once Martin heard that Jackie’s plan was to find Bobbie Jones (Jacklyn Zeman), who’s watching over Florence, he insisted on going with Jackie.
Although Jackie balked at first, she finally relented after Martin refused to back down.
Of course, it’s important for Martin to find Florence before Cyrus does, since he’s worried that Cyrus might actually withhold their mother from him. Cyrus is always a wild card, so Martin wants to be part of the action and find Florence first. And so, it looks like Martin and Jackie are going on an adventure to Vermont.
One wonders how the relationship between Jackie and Martin will grow during their trip together. On soaps, trips like this tend to lead to growing feelings between couples, and since Jackie’s marriage to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) is virtually done at this point, it would make sense that Jackie might be looking for love with someone new.
Since Martin has never indicated that he is dating or involved with anyone, that would mean that he’s an eligible bachelor and that he might be ultimately interested in Jackie.
And just because Jackie and Martin don’t exactly get along right now, they might actually become good partners on the road, and that could lead to romantic feelings blossoming.
We’ll see what happens here, but it certainly looks like TPTB are going in the direction of a Jackie/Martin partnership, and that could lead to love! Would you like to see Jackie and Martin get together?
