General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) allowed Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to have a lovely phone conversation with his mother, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott).
Unfortunately, that’s not going to do much to appease Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). If anything, it may just add to Cyrus’ anger.
Cyrus already knows Martin is the favorite – the son that Florence respects and loves. Cyrus is longing to get that respect and love as well, so this whole situation with Jason could be an infuriating reminder.
General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will take his threats to the next level with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) during the week of February 8-12. Cyrus will grow increasingly impatient, so this could lead to making a bold move against the Corinthos clan.
When Cyrus came on the scene, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was one of his first targets. Remember that attack down by the docks? Cyrus had no way of knowing Michael wasn’t the heir to the Corinthos mob throne, so he wanted Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) son to die.
Michael is now in danger for a similar reason. On the February 5 episode, Michael warned Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) that although he had a very different line of work from his dad, he still bears the Corinthos name.
Michael pointed out that with Sonny gone, some people out there might expect him to take over.
This led to Willow fretting over the peril Michael might be in. The conversation was troubling and felt like a warning that Michael would indeed land in danger soon enough.
Cyrus now knows Michael isn’t really part of the mob world, but he IS one of Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) beloved children and someone Jason adores as well.
Cyrus also mentioned how close Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) previously was to Michael in one of his threatening conversations with Brando. There’s an intriguing emphasis on Michael that’s starting to take shape.
Will Cyrus order Brando to shoot Michael and send a message? Could Michael become another kidnapping target or would Cyrus prefer a more harmful approach?
It’s easy to imagine Cyrus getting desperate enough to go after Michael somehow. If this happens after Florence is returned, that could be even worse! Cyrus would have nothing left to lose and sweet revenge to gain.
Whatever the case, the timing is perfect for Michael to wind up in a dangerous situation. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) could use this against the Corinthos family in a custody war for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
It could also reignite Willow’s feelings for Michael and help her heart decide it’s Michael she really wants.
