General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may be in for a big surprise. As GH viewers know, Nina has been heartbroken ever since she found out that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) was her daughter and that she lost the only child she’ll ever have.
But Nina thinks that at least she’s got her grandson Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), and that’s keeping her going for now.
Well, we can’t help but remember that shortly before Nina found out that Nelle was her daughter and that Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) had been keeping that fact from her, Nina and Jax spent a passionate night together.
At the time it seemed a little odd for TPTB to focus so heavily on a night of lovemaking for an established couple. But perhaps there was more to it.
Yes, Nina’s a bit older than most women are when they have children, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Nina could find herself pregnant with a miracle baby. After all, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) had Donna Corinthos (Ella and Emma Hulen) not that long ago, and she’s around the same age as Nina.
What if Nina were to discover that she’s pregnant with a miracle baby? The baby would most certainly be Jax’s, but Nina might want to keep Jax as far away from the baby as she can.
During the week of February 15, Nina will discover that Jax and Carly are keeping the secret of how Nelle died on the cliff, and she’ll be incensed with Jax, washing her hands of him for good.
Well, Nina could decide that she wants to totally deny Jax his rights to the baby, just like he tried to deny her the knowledge that Nelle was her son and Wiley was her grandson.
And this is where Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) could come in. It probably wouldn’t take much more than an ask for Valentin to help out Nina by pretending to get back together with her and saying he’s her baby’s father.
Of course, there might be DNA proof that would be needed to “establish” that the baby is Valentin’s, but Valentin could probably bribe someone at GH to mess with the DNA results.
After all, Valentin has had DNA results altered before! And Valentin would probably love the thought of denying Jax his child…and getting Nina for himself all over again!
It will be interesting to see what happens going forward with Nina, Jax, and Valentin, but since this is a soap and anything could happen, we wouldn’t rule out a Nina pregnancy at this point.
