General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, January 14, tease that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will catch Nurse Amy Driscoll’s (Risa Dorken) eye. Brando will be getting dressed after a quick examination at GH, so Amy will pop in and admire the view.
Of course, Amy will also want to make sure Brando’s OK after his run-in with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) – and he’ll promise he’s fine.
At the Metro Court, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will turn to Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) for answers about his missing mother, Florence Grey (Annie Abbott).
However, Sam will insist she doesn’t know anything about that. She’ll snap about how she won’t be serving as a go-between, so Cyrus will have to direct any questions he has to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton),
After Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) leaves Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) a voicemail to call her back, she’ll reveal something important to Sam. Once Sam agrees to sit down for a chat, Olivia will admit something feels weird about this whole drunk-driving accident.
Olivia will also argue that tough love is overrated in her opinion. She’ll remind Sam that Alexis is her mom and needs somebody in her corner right now. Olivia will mull over Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) story and how it’s difficult to buy.
Alexis also claims she’s innocent, but Sam will point out that it wouldn’t be the first time her mother blacked out after drinking.
Even so, Olivia will feel like Sam needs to dig into this and try to figure out Alexis’ side of the story. Meanwhile, Alexis will seem tired, drunk and somber as she finds a bag outside her home.
It’ll contain a photo album Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) thought Alexis might want after searching through Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) belongings.
A distraught Alexis will start cutting up the pictures, but Sam will arrive with Olivia. After Sam and Olivia insist they care, Alexis will wonder which one of them is lying. Sam will notice Alexis now has an alarm system she didn’t have before. She’ll also see the aftermath of the cut-up photos and express shock.
Alexis will rant about how the only good thing Julian ever did was give her Sam. She’ll feel like Julian’s going to haunt her for the rest of her life. After Olivia goes to get some coffee, she’ll point out it was right where Alexis said it was all along.
Sam and Olivia will start wondering how drunk Alexis remembered the alarm system code when she was with Tracy. Alexis will insist she doesn’t remember coming home at all that night, so Olivia and Sam will seem like they’re starting to get the picture.
Back with Cyrus, he’ll get an earful from Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) about being the reason she almost died. Sasha will insist that Cyrus needs to deal with his mommy issues, so that comment will leave Cyrus taken aback.
Cyrus will whine about his poor, frail mother who was yanked from her long-term care facility and will push Sasha to have some compassion.
Sasha won’t have much sympathy considering Cyrus blew up The Floating Rib. She’ll feel like Cyrus spends all his time going after other people’s families while he gripes about Jason. When Brando appears, he’ll pull Sasha away from Cyrus and demand to know why she’s still bothering his boss.
Cyrus will notice Brando’s beat-up face and ask him about it, so Brando will admit he got mixed up with a girl who had a boyfriend and had it coming. Sasha will seek reassurance that Brando’s all right, but Cyrus will want Sasha to leave.
Next, Cyrus will order Brando to use Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) death to his advantage and try to score info on Florence. Brando will grumble about how the Corinthos family doesn’t trust him, but Cyrus will want Brando to tackle this mission or else he’ll go to the Feds about Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab).
Before Cyrus saunters off, he’ll mention that Sasha was and perhaps still is close to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Brando will then rip into Sasha for provoking Cyrus, but she’ll argue that it was a teachable moment.
Sasha will think Brando needs to worry about himself from the looks of his lip. She’ll also comment on how his conversation with Cyrus seemed serious – and Brando will admit it was.
Over with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll fill Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in on Florence’s abduction and will break the news of Sonny’s death. Laura will admit she’s really going to miss Sonny, so Curtis will express his condolences.
Talk will turn to Curtis’ fractured marriage, so he’ll admit he doesn’t want it to be over. At the same time, Curtis just won’t know how to fix things with Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry).
Curtis will wonder where that leave them. Laura will offer some advice and let Curtis know she’s always there – no matter what he decides.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Jason will have a crucial meeting with Brick (Stephen A. Smith). They’ll discuss Sonny’s death before Jason admits the Corinthos clan needs a favor.
Jason will be curious about the feelers they’ve put out. He’ll wonder if anyone’s making a move amongst the five families.
Brick will admit somebody indeed already made a move, so he’s got updates. Product is being moved, so there’ll be an issue to take care of at the warehouse. Brick will insist on tagging along as Jason’s backup.
Once they arrive, that warehouse will be too quiet and will smell like gunpowder. Jason and Brick will be armed and ready as they lift up the giant door to see dead bodies all around.
Later, Jason and Brick will have a puzzle to solve. They’ll determine that the person who did this must’ve known Sonny wouldn’t want the product to be run through Port Charles.
Jason will feel like somebody shut this down as a favor to Sonny’s organization. They’ll resolve to get to the bottom of this, but they’ll seemingly realize Cyrus was responsible when he shows up at Pozzulo’s for a nightcap.
At the hospital Sonny was taken to, Phyllis Caulfield (Juliette Jeffers) – the nurse who took care of Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) years ago – will help Sonny.
He’ll manage to charm Phyllis as they laugh about food and wine. Sonny’s clothes will let Phyllis know he must have money. There’s no missing person description match, but Sonny’s wedding ring will tell Phyllis that someone must be looking for him.
Phyllis will be impressed over Sonny’s survival instincts. Sonny still won’t have any memories about what happened to him or where he came from, but Phyllis will still have high hopes for him.
Phyllis will mention treating a woman who was in a coma for 20 years. She’ll talk about visiting that woman recently in Port Charles, so Sonny will seem pensive.
Phyllis will also notice Sonny’s vintage watch, so he’ll read the inscription: “Mike, never enough time -A.”
General Hospital spoilers say Phyllis will tell “Mike” that it’s nice to meet him. It sounds like Sonny’s adventure is already bringing some great GH drama! CDL will have other hot General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so make us your go-to source.
