General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) won’t know what to do following his release from the hospital. Without his memories to guide him, Sonny will be feeling pretty overwhelmed. It’s safe to say that after everything Sonny’s been through, he could use a drink!
Sonny will indeed head to a nearby bar for a cold one – and he’ll make a new friend along the way. GH fans already met Eddie, who found Sonny and resolved to get him some help.
There are new General Hospital spoilers that point to Sonny meeting another man named Lenny, which lines up with leaked casting sides from a couple months back.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will land in more danger after thugs show up to rob the bar. Of course, Sonny won’t just stand by and do nothing! He may not remember who he is, but he’ll know he has to step up to help. GH fans can expect the robbery attempt to be thwarted thanks to Sonny’s quick thinking and skills.
Sonny and Lenny will work together to convince these greedy baddies to scram. Once the coast is clear, General Hospital spoilers hint that Sonny will earn himself a room above the bar and a job. It’ll be repayment for Sonny’s heroic efforts.
Since it looks like Lenny owns this bar, he’ll be glad to have a guy like Sonny around to pitch in. Sonny will apparently become a bartender for a while – though he won’t go by “Sonny” since he doesn’t know that’s his name. Thanks to Sonny’s watch inscription, it appears he’ll go by “Mike.”
That seems fitting since Mike Corbin (Max Gail) is Sonny’s father and the one who kept his son from crossing over to the other side. Sonny decided to stick around and fight, but he’ll face a different kind of fight soon enough.
The fight to get home will be an interesting and difficult one, but Sonny should find solace at this bar in the meantime. It should be a place of refuge until Sonny can get his memories back. We’ll bring you updates as other GH news becomes available.
