General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, July 1, tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will make a shocking party announcement while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is left brokenhearted. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will also grill Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) about “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so some tight spots are coming up.
First, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will catch Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) off guard at Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) graduation bash. “You ready to party or what?” Curtis asks in Thursday’s GH preview video, which earns a smile from Portia.
Trina Robinson’s (Sydney Brower) supposed to have a party of her own coming up, but it seems Cameron will hold a little get-together first. It’ll allow Portia and Curtis to keep dancing around their feelings while Trina seeks the truth from Cameron.
Trina will hope Cam and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are back to being friends, but Cameron may admit things just aren’t the same since he broke their bond.
Fortunately, Cameron and Josslyn will have the chance to hash things out before the week’s over, July 2.
In the meantime, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will open up to Kevin Collins (Genie Francis) and allude to potentially finding something out tonight.
It looks like Nikolas may have a romantic surprise in store for Ava – or perhaps he’ll go ahead and lay his stalker trap.
Either way, Nikolas will seem confident in his strategy, but it won’t work out as well as he thinks. Ava’s going to face some troubling news later, which could tie in with some upcoming drama at the gallery.
The stalker was listening as Nikolas refused to give up on his marriage, so this seems like the perfect time to strike again.
Until then, Ava will meet up with Nina again and push for more answers about the guy she’s interested in. Nina won’t spill too much, but she’ll indeed take the opportunity to gush over “Mike” aka Sonny and what a great guy he is.
Ava will wonder if Nina’s thinking she’s going to be with “Mike,” but Nina honestly won’t be sure. It’s all so complicated since Sonny is actually married to Carly – though his amnesia has given him a fresh start in Nixon Falls.
Of course, Carly has a new marriage on her mind and is on the verge of sharing updates with her loved ones. It looks like Josslyn will have a little graduation celebration as well.
There’ll be a family gathering that serves as the right moment for Carly to reveal that she’s marrying Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) – if there’s ever really a right moment to reveal that!
While Carly drops the marriage bomb, Jason will do the same in a private conversation with Britt. He’ll admit what he’s going to say changes things and will leave Britt brokenhearted to learn he’s going to wed Carly.
As for Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), he’ll try to patch things up with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) following the blackmail fiasco. Michael won’t be willing to forgive and forget, so he’ll push Jax to live with the consequences of his choice.
You can bet Michael and Jax will want to weigh in on the marriage drama that’s brewing, so stay tuned!
