General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, May 13 Recap – Sasha Pregnant – Britt Rejects Puerto Rico Plan – Sonny Botches Break-In

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 13, teases that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) revealed she was pregnant while Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) rejected Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) Puerto Rico plan. Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) botched a break-in!

At the Metro Court, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) thought Sasha looked awful and worried she might be using again. After Sasha denied it, Lucy wondered if she was sick. “No, I’m pregnant,” Sasha admitted. That led a very curious Lucy to grill Sasha about who the “baby daddy” was.

Lucy ran down the list of possibilities she could think of, but Sasha rejected all the options and insisted she was keeping that under wraps since she hadn’t told the father yet.

Sasha knew this could complicate things and wanted to give Lucy an out since she’d already caused so much drama for Deception.

Lucy didn’t think it was a big deal to have an unwed mother as the Face of Deception. In fact, Lucy quickly became excited about selling makeup to pregnant women and moms.

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) appeared at one point to make sure Sasha was OK since he’s been worried about her, but she offered reassurance. Afterward, Sasha resumed her conversation with Lucy before she had to bolt for the restroom due to morning sickness.

Lucy made a call to someone about wonderful news she couldn’t disclose, but she wanted to pitch an ad campaign called the “Face of Conception.”

At Brando and Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) table, she felt like Sasha looked rough and wondered if Brando thought she was back on the hard stuff. Brando insisted he didn’t set up this meeting to listen to Gladys badmouth Sasha.

What Brando really wanted to talk about was Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and the danger he posed. Brando insisted that Cyrus blackmailed him every day thanks to what Gladys spilled.

Brando didn’t like Gladys being so involved through this fake eyewitness situation and felt that once Cyrus had no more use for Gladys, she was done.

Brando warned that the cost of being tangled up with Cyrus would soon be too high, but Gladys refused to listen. She was offended since she thought Brando wanted to make it up to her for missing Mother’s Day, but that clearly wasn’t the case.

Gladys stormed off to the restroom, where she later overheard Sasha contacting someone to get a prescription to help with morning sickness.

At Pentonville, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) informed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) that although it wasn’t a done deal yet, he was hoping to be the new owner of the prison.

Alexis was concerned since inmates in private prisons are often mistreated, but Nikolas felt she should have some faith in him to hire people who would never allow that.

In the end, Alexis understood Nikolas’ motives and thought this arrangement was preferable to him being in league with Cyrus. Nikolas took off for a meeting to work out the details.

As for Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), Alexis felt like he should do whatever it took to get parole and then try to clear his name. Shawn ultimately agreed to fight for his freedom – partly for his son, but mostly because Alexis wasn’t going to stop hounding him.

After Nikolas returned from seeing the warden, Alexis explained that Shawn was going to fight for his release. Nikolas seemed a little on edge over all the talk about finding out who really shot Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).

At the Cassadine barn, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) had it all worked out where she would use a fake passport and help Jason get to Canada.

Britt was offended when Sam argued they could just drop her off at the bus station between there and the border. She made a smart remark about Sam making plans for her.

However, Sam didn’t want to waste time since Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) could catch up with them. Jason shut down the idea since he didn’t want to risk Sam’s parole.

Sam argued that Jason shouldn’t fight her on this. She insisted she wasn’t going to stay on the run with Jason, but she had to help him escape so that he wouldn’t go back to Pentonville and get killed.

Jason stood his ground, so Sam eventually decided he was right. She gave Britt her passport and thought it’d work in a pinch, even though Britt was taller. Britt said she would slouch – and later, Jason explained that this is where his alliance with Britt needed to end.

Jason wanted Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to pick Britt up in Queenspoint and take her to a safehouse or perhaps get her to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) private island in Puerto Rico.

Britt shouted about how she wouldn’t leave Jason with an unhealed gunshot wound while she was on some Puerto Rican vacation!

Britt felt her options were grim any way she sliced it, so she convinced Jason to let her stay on the run with him. She was surprised to learn Jason had taken the keys back, so they bickered about Britt’s driving before she talked him into handing the keys over again.

Jason and Britt touched hands in a sweet moment as he passed them back.

On the Corinthos compound, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) ranted about how Carly was no longer collateral damage. She was a target! Jax thought it was a mistake to assume that everything would be fine if Jason could resume power – if he could even clear his name.

Jax worried Carly was going to get herself killed and felt her family needed her. Carly countered that she could use what she’d learned from both Sonny and Jason, so Jax felt the truth was that Carly liked the position she was in.

Jax insisted on taking Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) out of the house, but Carly argued that Jax would have to talk to Josslyn about that.

In Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) assured Sonny that she could handle herself on this fake date with Elijah Crowe (Dan White). Once Nina was on that date, she fished for information about the crimes in the area.

Elijah tried to act like “Mike” might’ve been in Nixon Falls sooner than anyone thought and tried to pass blame.

Nina defended “Mike,” so Elijah got the feeling that she liked him. He wondered about Nina’s romantic interest, but she denied it and acted like Phyllis Caulfield’s (Joyce Guy) opinion just mattered a great deal to her.

Nina’s supposed lack of romantic interest in “Mike” pleased Elijah, who leaned in for a kiss as Nina looked uneasy.

As for Sonny, he carried out his part of the plan by donning dark clothes and breaking in Elijah’s office. Once inside, Sonny inadvertently triggered the alarm. As other GH info comes in, we’ll keep bringing you updates.
