General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, July 20 Recap – Finn’s Body Bag & Landfill Plans for Peter – Shawn Finally Free

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 20, reveals that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) revealed potential body bag and landfill plans for Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Meanwhile, David Hopkins (Robert Leeshock) described the roof mystery man before his arrest. Here’s how all the drama played out in Tuesday’s GH episode.

In the park, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) was in her t-ball uniform ready for the big game as she complained about Finn’s healthy snack selection.

Finn was worried her teammates would hate her, but Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) came through with some cupcakes Aiden Webber (Jason David) made.

The cupcakes were a hit, so Violet thanked Liz and got some batting pointers from Finn before she stepped up to the plate.

Finn and Liz cheered Violet on from a distance, which allowed them to discuss Peter as well.

They considered how they could move the body without anyone finding out, so Finn suggested using a gurney and a body bag before dumping it in a landfill.

Finn hated to be talking about a human being like this, but Liz didn’t want him feeling guilty over Peter’s death.

Liz thought Finn had made it so Peter couldn’t terrorize anyone else, but Finn didn’t think the authorities would see it that way.

Liz promised to take care of Violet if Finn got arrested, but he pointed out she could go down for this as well.

In the end, Liz just thought they should trust that they were in the clear.

At the PCPD, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) talked to Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about a press leak.

The added pressure from the media helped move things along, so Alexis found out she was being transferred to a much more pleasant prison. Shawn was let out with time served, so he rejoiced over his freedom.

At the Metro Court, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) had some pricey Champagne sent over to Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) table.

Nikolas eventually joined the happy domestic partners and got updates on Alexis’ transfer thanks to a text sent to Molly.

TJ wished he hear news on Shawn’s sentence, but then Shawn walked in and surprised his son.

Nikolas looked uneasy as Shawn talked about how much he wanted to find out who really went after Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).

Back with Alexis, she was grateful for all the help she’d been given and mentioned how Nikolas had supported her, too.

Laura was pleased over the improvements in Nikolas’ behavior and felt he had turned into the good man she always knew he could be.

At the Metro Court pool, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) teased Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) about their romance.

Cameron wondered how long Spencer was sticking around for, so Spencer admitted he was back for good.

Josslyn wound up getting annoyed with Spencer, so she shoved him in the pool and earned a laugh from Cameron.

When Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) showed up, she was introduced to a soaking wet Spencer and immediately recognized him as “Victor” the mystery man.

Spencer pretended he didn’t know Trina, who played along despite being visibly irritated.

Cameron and Josslyn were confused since it seemed like Trina was mad at Spencer without even knowing him, but Cam guessed it didn’t take long for Spencer to have that effect on people.

They also thought it seemed like Trina and Spencer had an awful lot to talk about once the two of them stepped aside.

Spencer claimed that he lied to Trina because he didn’t want his father to know he was in town yet. He talked about having issues with Nikolas and not knowing how this reunion would go.

Spencer also admitted he didn’t work at The Savoy, but he was hoping Trina would keep his previous “Victor” ruse a secret.

Trina wasn’t happy about all this, but she understood on some level due to problems with her own father.

Trina didn’t want to blow Spencer’s progress with Nikolas, so she agreed to keep quiet unless Spencer deceived her again. If Spencer told more lies, then Trina vowed to rat him out.

At Ryan’s Bar, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) suggested David could either talk to them or get arrested for obstruction of justice.

David opted to spill, so he admitted there was someone else on the roof with Peter and described him.

Anna and Valentin learned it was a tall man in a blue or gray suit. David wasn’t sure about the guy’s age, but he said the man had longish hair – down to his collar maybe.

Soon after David finished telling what he knew, the cops showed up to arrest him.

David was furious, but Valentin and Anna pointed out that he aided and abetted a murderer. As David was dragged out of the bar, he yelled about how there was no proof and insisted this was crazy.

That left Anna and Valentin to mull over this mystery person on the roof. Valentin assumed this person was an ally, but Anna wasn’t so sure.

Anna argued that if Peter had someone else helping him, why would he hire someone to airlift him off the roof? Anna felt there was something they weren’t seeing clearly and suggested that it didn’t add up.

General Hospital spoilers say Anna will figure out Finn’s involvement in the coming episodes, so stay tuned!
