General Hospital Spoilers Update: Friday, May 28 – Nurse Chloe’s Attack – Cyrus Arrest Evidence – Chase’s Misunderstanding

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, May 28, teases that Nurse “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown) will be ready to attack while the evidence builds for Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) arrest. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will also face a misunderstanding that complicates an already complicated situation.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Chase will eavesdrop on a discussion that’s not meant for his ears. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will grow concerned when they realize Chase was listening in, but Chase won’t quite grasp the meaning of their conversation.

It turns out Chase will make some wrong assumptions, so he won’t realize Willow and Michael are in love. Chase will remain in the dark on the duo’s plan to build a life together once Chase has recovered, so that crushing news will have to come down the road.

Of course, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will start to worry that Chase may never recover at all. These antidote vials aren’t a long-term solution, but Finn will fret over not being able to nail down a true cure.

After Finn confides his worst fears to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), she’ll push the doc to trust his skills and keep hope alive.

Over with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll drop by to see someone at GH and hope she hasn’t shown up too late. Anna will apologize to somebody, so she may be sorry to Finn for having to drop everything and attend Sean Donely’s (John Reilly) funeral in Ireland.

Finn already gave Anna the nudge she needed to say goodbye to her friend, but Anna may still feel a bit guilty. Fortunately, Chase is hanging in there for now. Anna should get updates on Chase staying at the Quartermaine mansion for the time being.

Anna will count on Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to come through with another antidote vial, which Valentin has already been pressuring Peter August (Wes Ramsey) for.

Speaking of Peter, what will the nurse he hired to pose as Chloe Jennings do next?

“Chloe” is armed and ready thanks to that fireplace poker she took out of the cabin in Pautuck. Maxie will freak over someone potentially sent by Peter.

There’s a chance Austin (Roger Howarth) the hiker doctor isn’t exactly who he seems to be, but we’d say GH writers will want to keep him sweet and innocent.

Instead, it’ll probably be “Chloe” who attacks Austin by giving him a hard blow to the head. Austin may lose consciousness and give Chloe the chance to force Maxie back to the cabin along with Baby Lou.

However, Austin will surely try to help once he awakens and realizes Maxie is in danger.

Back in Port Charles, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will think it’s a little late to discuss something with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). She’ll think the ship has sailed, so maybe Sasha will acknowledge that they can’t keep the baby’s paternity a secret anymore.

Cyrus knows the truth, so Brando and Sasha need to concentrate on standing against him as a team.

Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will speak to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in the aftermath of the shootout. Based on Brando’s statement and all the evidence, Jordan may think she can make some charges stick against Cyrus.

Jordan will definitely feel like she’s got enough proof to arrest someone, so we’ll see if the cops come for Cyrus soon enough.

In the meantime, Cyrus will refuse to budge when it comes to the ruined deal. He doesn’t buy the idea that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) wasn’t part of Carly’s plan.

As a result, Cyrus intends to punish Carly for plotting to have him killed. It’s Nikolas’ fault all this went south, but Carly will worry that Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will be the one who pays the steepest price.

Fortunately, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will arrive with his loaded weapon and demand Spinelli’s release. Jason will make it clear that he intends to kill Cyrus if this baddie doesn’t cooperate.

As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), she’ll wonder what’s taking Maxie so long as she waits on a phone call.

Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will also let Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) know that she needs him, so they’ll share some tender scenes and keep moving in a romantic direction.

General Hospital spoilers say Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will get stuck in some perilous drama in the coming episodes. The kickoff for that danger could come through Portia’s unfortunate Friday surprise.

Portia will face some mom panic this summer, so let’s hope Curtis can help save Trina’s life. CDL will have other terrific General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so pop back in soon.
