General Hospital Spoilers Update: Monday, August 2 – Chase The Bouncer - Sonny Tells Nina a Secret – Jordan Rejects Portia

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, August 2, teases that we’ll see some Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) and Willow Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) reunion drama. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also tell Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) a secret he hasn’t told anyone yet – and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will reject Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) invitation.

First on Monday’s GH episode, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will have a tense conversation about the cost of their engagement decision. They’re in this together and have to accept that there’s a price to pay on both sides.

While Jason reminds Carly of the sacrifices they’re making to keep the family safe, Harmony will leave Willow on edge.

Harmony’s the woman who visited Jonah’s grave and just showed up at the Quartermaine mansion unannounced, so her presence will cause problems.

This is a difficult day for Willow anyway since it’s the anniversary of when she lost her biological child.

Willow will also face the pressure of trying to keep things fun for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson) on his birthday.

This party will bring some surprises along with some conflict, so Willow will feel like she’s in over her head.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will come to Willow’s rescue first, but Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) help won’t be far behind.

Chase will apparently take a more drastic approach when he forces Harmony right out of the house.

Afterward, Chase will question Willow’s thought process and judgment call.

Perhaps Chase will wonder why Willow allowed Harmony to stay in the first place since having her mom around was causing so much distress.

An emotional Willow will need some time away from the bash, so she’ll head to the Quartermaine gatehouse. Michael will chase after Willow to make sure she’s OK, so that’ll bring some moments of comfort.

Back with Chase, he’ll get some guidance from Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth). Austin saw Chase standing up and taking a tentative step or two.

Austin will end up quizzing Chase about why Willow’s being left out of the loop.

There’ll be two reasons for that since Chase was hoping to show Willow when he was completely recovered as a romantic gesture.

However, the more important reason is that Chase didn’t want to get Willow’s hopes up – or his own for that matter.

Chase is still battling doubts about whether he can be the husband Willow needs, so he didn’t want to jump the gun and disappoint her in the end.

Austin will think Chase is doing great and can build on this progress if he keeps putting this kind of effort in.

With that in mind, Austin will give Chase the nudge he needs to show Willow his recovery so far. Unfortunately, that plan will go awry in the coming episodes!

Until then, Portia’s coffee invitation will be rejected. When Jordan turns Portia down, the doc will assume Commissioner Ashford is just busy with the Peter August (Wes Ramsey) case.

However, Jordan will admit she knows Portia and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) kissed.

That’ll lead to Portia mistakenly assuming – or at least mistakenly blabbing – that she’s dating Curtis now. The couple news will throw Jordan for a loop and make all this sting even more.

Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) may give Jordan another pep talk about fighting for her marriage, but she’ll mostly be busy with Portia on Monday. Since Portia ignored Stella’s warning before, Stella will think she needs to offer another one.

Portia will face Stella’s fury for her romantic involvement with Curtis, but this is none of Stella’s business despite what she claims.

Nevertheless, Stella will continue to meddle – and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will want some details, too.

It looks like Trina will try to find out if Curtis was unfaithful to Jordan before his marriage ended – and if Portia helped out with that betrayal.

Curtis may assure Trina that his divorce is genuinely about the secrets that were kept and lies that were told.

Naturally, Curtis will have to decide if he’s going to go along with Portia’s wishes and keep the secret of her old affair under wraps.

Portia betrayed Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) with Curtis close to two decades ago, but this is still significant information.

Whether Curtis blabs or not, Trina’s indeed going to learn about Portia and Curtis’ full romantic history soon.

Speaking of history, “Mike” aka Sonny has learned a piece of his own. Sonny will think back to the memory he had in Manhattan of a deadly farewell.

As for Nina, she’ll try to decide if the situation she’s stuck in is a blessing or a curse. She may determine it’s a little of both and will let Sonny know she’s missing Wiley since it’s his birthday.

Sonny will ultimately confide his goodbye memory and leave Nina concerned in more ways than one.

Part of Nina will fret over the possibility that Sonny might face a memory flood.

Another part of Nina will feel guilty since Sonny might remember more if he was back with his loved ones, which is really where he should be.

Nina’s mess will get messier when Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) chooses to make a video call at Wiley’s party.

Brook Lynn will offer the chance to wish Wiley a happy birthday over that video call, but Nina will be caught off guard as she works to keep Sonny out of sight.

We’ll keep you posted as other GH updates roll in. General Hospital spoilers say Nina will be in panic mode within the next episode or two, so stay tuned! CDL’s where you want to be for fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so make us your hotspot.
