General Hospital Spoilers Update: Wednesday, June 9 – Obrecht Anger Outlet – Dante's Mysterious Case – Chase Last Survival Shot

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, June 9, teases that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will offer an anger outlet while Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) tackles a mysterious case. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will also score what could be his last survival shot, but Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will hope his plan for a cure actually works.

Obrecht will sense that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could use a way to unleash some of the rage that’s built up over Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

Liesl will have an idea if Anna feels the need to break something, so it looks like they’ll head somewhere to smash some stuff and feel better in the process.

Over with Dante, he’ll show up after being summoned to Wyndemere. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will read a note she assumes is from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), which will probably be on the other side of that stabbed photo.

Although Ava won’t seem all that concerned at first, the mood will shift thanks to the threat contained in this message.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will be just as fearful, so he’ll want to bring Detective Falconeri in on this and figure out what can be done.

Maybe Dante will push Ava and Nikolas to consider other options when it comes to the stalker who’s sending all the “gifts” and ominous words. It seems likely it’s a Spencer Cassadine recast who’s causing all the mischief ahead of his summer debut.

In the meantime, Finn will express his optimism at GH. Chase will be ecstatic over the prospect of getting the cure he needs and hopefully returning to his normal life.

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will be in charge of an important phone call – perhaps to Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) since they’ll probably want to get over to the hospital for this.

Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) will get a visit from Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) once she’s settled back in Port Charles. Britt will hate that she couldn’t come through for Maxie like she promised when it came to the baby scheme, but she’ll be curious how things played out in her absence.

Will Maxie admit to going through with the plot or sell Britt the same story she’s been selling to almost everyone else? Britt certainly wouldn’t divulge anything to put Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom) in jeopardy if Maxie told her.

However, it would also make sense if Maxie chose to pretend “Chloe Jennings” (Kimberly J. Brown) stole her daughter – even to Britt. Maxie can’t be too careful, but we’ll see what exactly she chooses to spill on Wednesday.

In Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will hang up and gush over her opportunity to be in Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) life. All Nina has to do is go back to Port Charles and grandson bonding visits await her.

“Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will understand why Nina would want to return to Port Charles under the circumstances, but he’ll fret over where this leaves them.

Sonny was hoping to win Nina over and convince her to build a real relationship with him there in Nixon Falls.

“Mike” will guess this is goodbye, but Nina won’t see why it has to be a farewell forever. Why not a “so long for now” instead? Nevertheless, Sonny won’t look like he has high hopes for Nina returning.

Sonny may think this is the end of the road for them and worry Nina’s just going to get back to business as usual in PC.

General Hospital spoilers point to Nina being forced to choose between Wiley and Sonny at some point. Whether it’s now or later, Nina should indeed have to figure out what’s most important to her.

The promise of forming a real connection with Wiley is something Nina just can’t pass up, so that should become her focus in the coming weeks.

As for Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), he won’t seem sorry about playing hardball with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Michael will blast Jax for blackmailing him into letting Nina have a relationship with Wiley, but Jax may think it’s a shame that he had to!

Even so, Michael will rant about his own decision being taken away. He won’t think it’s fair that Nina gets to make a choice when Jax robbed him of one.

Jax’s move has caused a major rift that won’t be fixed anytime soon, but Jax will be fine with that as long as Nina’s happy.

General Hospital spoilers say Michael will have to fill Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in on this blackmail plot soon, so she’s sure to be stunned by Jax’s sneaky strategy.
