General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, April 7 Recap – Brook Lynn Uses Maxie’s Sonogram – Cyrus Onto Valentin & Anna

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 7, reveals that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) received updates on Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) interest in Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) passed along the news and wondered why Valentin would be hanging around his mother.

Once Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) arrived for their meeting, Cyrus felt confident they could work out a deal to help each other. Nikolas taunted Cyrus a bit about the possibility that he might find Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) and keep her.

However, Nikolas ultimately agreed to find Florence for Cyrus – and in exchange, Nikolas got reassurance that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) would be safe at Pentonville. Cyrus made it clear that Nikolas shouldn’t test his patience or else Alexis would have a rough time.

Once Nikolas was gone, Cyrus reconvened with Brando and brought up Gladys again. He was disappointed that Brando hadn’t taken the initiative to look into the matter.

Cyrus felt like maybe Brando wasn’t useful as anything more than a driver and suggested finding his mom was no longer Brando’s concern. Cyrus argued that he’d placed the matter in more competent hands.

At home, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) wanted Kristina Corinthos (Lexi Ainsworth) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) to move in there while she was in prison.

Molly noted that she’d have to talk to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), but Kristina didn’t want to be a third wheel in their domestic partnership.

Kristina argued that she’d vowed never to live with Molly again anyway after the tofurkey incident, so she started arguing with Molly over the contents of her fridge.

Alexis got choked up since she’d miss watching her girls bicker like this and hated that she’d miss Molly’s law school graduation, too.

After Alexis sought reassurance that her daughters would be there for each other, she got a visit from Nikolas. Alexis and Nikolas shared a warm moment as they talked about being family.

Nikolas was grateful to Alexis for helping him in the past and revealed that he had taken steps to make sure she’d be safe at Pentonville.

At GH, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) was walking along with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) when she saw Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and ran over to him. Gregory Chase (Gregory Chase) eventually appeared and took his turn holding Violet, who picked up on the adults acting funny.

Chase blamed it on being hungry and whisked Violet away to get an ice cream sandwich. Violet suggested her daddy didn’t let her have ice cream before dinner, so Chase thought that’s why he was cooler.

Although Violet wished she had a brother or sister sometimes, she admitted she was glad to have her uncle. Chase promised that Violet could always talk to him if she was feeling sad.

Finn had a moment alone with Gregory, who wasn’t yet ready for the full family sit-down that Chase had agreed to. Later, Chase talked Gregory into attending dinner, but Gregory wasn’t sure what his relationship with Finn would look like moving forward.

Meanwhile, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) assured Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) that her baby was fine following her exam. They were ready to put their plan in motion, so Peter August (Wes Ramsey) eventually showed up and was glad Maxie had called him.

Britt pretended to object, but Maxie defended Peter’s right to know what was going on with his baby.

Once Britt pulled Peter aside, she assured him that the baby crisis had passed. However, Britt argued that it was important for Maxie to avoid stress.

Peter wanted to move back in and take care of Maxie, but Britt insisted that Peter was contributing to the problem. He later agreed to back off for the sake of the baby.

As for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), she bought herself some time by telling Britt she had to get out of the shapewear she was wearing. Brook Lynn paced around telling herself to think and ultimately went behind Maxie’s curtain.

After Brook Lynn learned everything was fine with Maxie’s baby, she ended up swiping Maxie’s sonagram on her way out.

When Brook Lynn went back behind her own curtain, she pretended another doctor had already been there to do her ultrasound. Britt was confused since there was no record of anything, but Brook Lynn flashed the sonogram and dashed off.

Valentin worried to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about Brook Lynn not taking parenthood seriously and admitted he’d already grown attached to this baby.

Anna reassured Valentin about the situation with Brook Lynn as well as the one with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). She felt Charlotte would warm up to the idea of having a sibling eventually.

Later on Wednesday’s General Hospital episode, Brook Lynn let Valentin know everything checked out with the baby and offered up the sonogram as proof. Back with Britt, she seemed suspicious when she realized Maxie’s sonogram had gone missing.

After Peter clashed with Anna and spotted her with Valentin, he spoke with Cyrus over the phone. Cyrus noted that Valentin was interested in Gladys, so Peter assumed Valentin was helping Anna try to exonerate Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Cyrus had done his research on Anna and Valentin, who were professionals. He felt it was obvious that Valentin and Anna had figured out the arrangement with Gladys. C

Cyrus felt this would be a major problem, but Peter gazed over at Finn and grinned about how it’d be no problem at all. General Hospital spoilers say Peter, Anna and Valentin have quite a battle brewing, so stay tuned for more GH drama!
