General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, August 18 – Obrecht’s Covert Evidence for Jax – Jason Flies Solo at Mob Meeting

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, August 18, tease that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will offer some covert evidence help to Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) flies solo at a dangerous five families meeting. Here’s what fans can look forward to on Wednesday’s exciting show.

At Wyndemere, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will blast Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) over the party horror and argue that he’s going to end up going down the same path his father did.

Laura already thought the plan was extreme, but she’s especially furious now that the nurse (Avery Kristen Pohl) has created confusion through Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) latest incident at the hospital.

Now Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) looks innocent, so Laura will be even more livid with Nikolas than before.

While Laura dishes out some tough love, Spencer will wonder if Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) would be able to forgive him if Nikolas’ accusations were true.

Of course, we know Spencer has indeed been causing stalker chaos, so he’ll be fishing to find out if that’d be a deal-breaker for Trina.

GH spoilers say Trina will be extraordinarily kind as far as Spencer is concerned, so we’ll see how much Spencer’s willing to admit.

Next, Liesl form an alliance with Jax and school him on the art of gathering covert evidence.

While Jax gets some tips that could help him score incriminating Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) evidence, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will fill Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in on her unsettling phone call.

Sam has acknowledged possibility that someone might be messing with her and could have some hidden agenda.

However, Sam’s also been considering the possibility that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is alive and actually reached out.

After Sam gives Curtis updates, Curtis will want to know what Sam’s instincts are telling her. He’ll wonder if Sam genuinely believes Drew is alive, but Sam can’t be sure of anything – and that’s why she has to keep digging.

In his prison cell, Drew will indeed hope Sam asks questions thanks to the phone call he was sneaky enough to make.

Drew will know Sam might be his last shot at getting out of this foreign slammer, so he’ll really be counting on his ex.

As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll fear that she might’ve interrupted something important.

Carly had to make the tough last-minute decision to bail on the five families meeting, but she’ll no doubt downplay the drama.

Jason will take charge on his own at the five families meeting and hope he can send a message that he’s a solid team with Carly.

That could be tough without Carly there by Jason’s side, but Jason will insist the meeting will continue and will promise repercussions if the rest of the mob families don’t cooperate.

Jason will rush to Carly’s defense at this meeting and will do his best to stay in control of the situation, but more danger is brewing.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly and Jason will have to kick their wedding plans in high gear soon, so presenting a united front will be more important than ever.
