General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, October 6 Update – Maxie’s Surprise Realization - Sam Ready for Dante Love

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, October 6, teases that a shooter will aim at Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) – and dangerous Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will learn who his targets are. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will also face a surprise realization, so let’s talk about what fans can expect.

In Greece, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will push Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to help him deal with Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

Victor pointed out they could both wind up dead if they don’t join forces, so Valentin will have to give this some serious thought.

Although Victor may not be Valentin’s favorite person, Valentin hates Peter with a burning passion.

If teaming up with Victor is what it takes to bring Peter down, Valentin should be on board – just as long as Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) stays safe.

Victor will assure Valentin that he has no interest in going after Anna and may promise to ensure her protection.

However, Anna has a knack for landing in dangerous situations and will already be in one with Robert on Wednesday’s GH episode.

Anna will discover Valentin is missing and grill the bartender she previously talked to. That Cassadine tattoo on his arm should be a dead giveaway that he’s caught up in all this somehow.

Anna will get pretty rough with the guy, but somebody will appear with a loaded weapon and could perhaps fire a shot or two at Robert.

Anna will shout at Robert to move and hurl the bartender up to potentially take the bullets if need be.

Meanwhile, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will fill Drew in on the details of his mission, including his target or targets.

Since Victor expressed concern, perhaps Valentin and Victor will be at the top of soldier Drew’s hit list now that he’s in a trance.

Anna and Robert might even be on that list since a mystery shooter’s about to go after them.

Of course, we should point out that things aren’t always as they seem on a soap.

If Peter wasn’t competent enough to kill anyone in that Nixon Falls fire, is he competent enough to truly trigger killer Drew? We wouldn’t put it past Drew to fake his trance and use this to gain the upper hand.

Even if the trance is real, there’s the potential for the plan to go awry. Drew could turn on Peter if he’s not careful, so that’s something to keep in mind.

As for Valentin and his partnership with Victor, just how much does Victor know? Since Victor has promised to track down Louise August (Harper and Scarlett Bloom), is he already in the loop on the true identity of Valentin’s little girl?

Victor is a tricky character and could be setting some kind of trap to score “Bailey Quartermaine” aka Louise. Whatever the case, Victor will try to earn Valentin’s trust on some level and make Peter out to be the truly guilty party.

Next, let’s talk about Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) mess back in Port Charles. She’ll grumble to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) derailing all the hard work she’s put in.

Brook Lynn may argue that she’s spent months trying to help Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) repair their marriage – only for Austin to come along and blow it with his Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) suggestions.

Brook Lynn may be stuck on the idea that Austin is using Leo to distract Ned from ELQ and the court case.

Chase might argue that Austin is a true medical professional and has a heart. Austin wouldn’t use an innocent kid as part of some manipulative plan, so Chase may think Ned, Olivia and Brook Lynn need to listen to the specialist advice.

Instead, Brook Lynn will work on a new scheme – though she’ll apologize and try to get Austin to drop his guard in the meantime. Maxie will hint about Austin needing protection about as much as she does, but it’ll be of a different variety.

Perhaps Maxie will witness Brook Lynn having another meltdown before she finally tells Austin she’s sorry and focuses on her new manipulative plan.

As for Maxie, she’ll have a stunning realization about a friendship. Will Maxie decide her feelings for Austin are growing and open her heart to the possibility of love?

Going on an official date might be a good first step since the wedding doesn’t really count.

Maxie was working at that event, so she needs a chance to sit down and talk with Austin over dinner. We’ll see if Austin and Maxie continue to bond in the coming episodes.

Over with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), she’ll be puzzled when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) insists on moving at a slow pace.

Dante will be interested in a slow-burn romance, but Sam will want to know why. She’ll apparently be ready to move full-speed ahead, so maybe Sam can help conquer Dante’s fears and convince him they’ve done enough waiting.

General Hospital spoilers say Dante and Sam will connect on a deeper level in Wednesday’s show, so stay tuned.
