General Hospital (GH) spoilers preview for the week of June 14-18 teases that Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will race to stop the discovery of Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) dead body, but Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) service elevator door mission could present a problem.
GH fans know Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) argued that Peter might still be hiding out in the hospital somewhere. That’s why Anna will take a look around and see for herself.
What Anna doesn’t know is that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) shoved Peter to his death – and Liz helped cover it up.
General Hospital hasn’t revealed what Finn and Liz did with the body, but it may have wound up at the bottom of the elevator shaft. Anna was struggling with the elevator button recently, which pointed to the elevator itself being jammed.
The weekly promo shows Anna wrestling with the service elevator door in an attempt to open it. Liz rushes over and calls out Anna’s name to stop her, so she’ll obviously hope to keep the corpse shocker under wraps.
Perhaps Liz will offer an excuse to drag Anna away, but you can bet Anna will remain curious and may not be willing to let this go indefinitely.
Of course, there’ll be some other secrets in jeopardy this week, including Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) knowledge that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is alive. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will wonder what’s in Nixon Falls that made Nina stay away for so long.
Nina certainly won’t admit that she found Carly Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) presumed dead husband, but a call from “Mike” will lead to suspicions about a new guy in her life.
Maxie will catch a glimpse of “Mike’s” name on the caller ID and will naturally think Nina’s found some hunk to move on with.
What Maxie won’t realize is that Nina’s falling hard for Carly’s hubby and digging a deep hole for herself in the process! Speaking of falling hard, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) certainly did a lot of that during their time on the run.
There’ll be more flying sparks as Britt and Jason meet up at the Metro Court this week.
Carly won’t approve when she spots Jason holding Britt’s hand – and Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) comments about the budding romance will rile Carly up even further.
Although Carly will warn Ava to butt out, Carly may not be able to resist chiming in herself when she corners Jason later.
We’ll offer updates as other GH news becomes available. General Hospital spoilers say Carly and Jason will have to set some firmer boundaries in the coming episodes, so stay tuned to watch them navigate things in their complex relationship.
CDL will have all the hot soap spoilers, updates and news you’re looking for, so check back often.
