General Hospital spoilers preview for the week of July 26 to July 30 teases that the truth comes out about Peter August (Wes Ramsey). The highlights of the weekly preview promo show Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) confirms Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) suspicions and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) returns to Nixon Falls.
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) confronts Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) struggle to keep their relationship under wraps.
Plus, Elizabeth has legal questions for Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and Jason searches the sub-basement of General Hospital for Peter’s body.
Elizabeth Baldwin Interrupts Dr. Hamilton Finn’s Conversation With Anna Devane
At General Hospital, Elizabeth walks into Finn’s office as he is talking to Anna. She tells Finn she just spoke to him and stops mid-sentence as she sees the seriousness in their faces and knows right away what Finn is doing.
General Hospital viewers will recall that Elizabeth has tried her best to keep Finn from confessing to pushing Peter August down the stairwell to his death, and the two have been discussing how to dispose of his body.
Elizabeth knows right away that Finn’s guilt over taking a human life has gotten the best of him, and that he is about to ruin his life and career by confessing.
General Hospital viewers recall that Nina has returned to Nixon Falls, Pennsylvania after “Mike” aka Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) called her. He told her that he, Phyllis Caulfield, (Joyce Guy) and Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) needed her, after Lenny’s dire diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
Sonny and Nina have bonded deeply during her months at Nixon Falls, and it certainly would appear that their short absence from one another has indeed made their hearts grow fonder as they pull together for a kiss in front of the bar at the Tan-O.
But Sonny has been having some hints of his memory returning, as he has experienced familiarity in certain situations. General Hospital viewers know that his memories could return at any time!
Jason Morgan Confronts Elizabeth Baldwin
General Hospital viewers will recall that as Finn and Elizabeth talked in the park about what to do with Peter’s body, Jason overheard them.
Several weeks ago, Elizabeth had talked to Jason at General Hospital and was getting ready to ask him to get rid of the body, when they were interrupted by Finn.
Finn hasn’t wanted to involve him, because he doesn’t want anyone else implicated in Peter’s death, in spite of Elizabeth assuring him Jason won’t! Now, outside in the park, he confronts Elizabeth and demands to know what’s going on!
Michael Corinthos and Willow Tait Corinthos Nearly Busted
Michael and Willow are still involved and still in love with one another even as Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has been struggling with becoming whole.
Since Willow’s deathbed marriage to Chase, she has never had the heart to tell him the truth. He would have died, had the truth not come out about Finn being his brother after all, and Finn developing a “Trojan horse” method of delivering an antidote for a deadly toxin.
Now, as Michael and Willow look like they are pulling in for a kiss, Michael’s mother, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) pops in unexpectedly and asks what they are doing!
Scott Baldwin Asked About Justifiable Homicide
Back to Elizabeth, now that Finn has confessed to Anna at General Hospital or is about to, she seeks legal advice from Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).
As Peter August is still in a morgue freezer in the sub-basement of General Hospital as far as she knows, Elizabeth is very concerned for not only Finn, but his small daughter Violet Finn (Jophielle Love).
Elizabeth pulls Scott aside to ask him how the law defines justifiable homicide.
Jason Morgan Searches The Sub-Basement
Jason, having become involved to help Elizabeth and Finn after she came clean to him in the park, goes to the sub-basement of General Hospital in the dark and searches for Peter’s body with a flashlight. General Hospital spoilers say Jason will not find Peter’s corpse!
