The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) may be offered a plea deal to avoid a prison sentence, but will it require throwing Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) under the bus for the sake of freedom?
B&B fans know Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) is representing both Bill and Liam. Justin is concerned about where things stand, but he intends to work hard and try to get both of them off the hook if possible.
Of course, Bill’s priority will be making sure Liam walks out of there a free man. He’ll be far less concerned about his own fate and should make that crystal clear to Justin. We also know Justin vowed to cut a deal for Liam if it came to that.
Perhaps that was a hint that Liam will indeed be offered a deal down the road – perhaps one that’s hard for him to take. Liam would love the chance to reunite with his family on the outside, but what if it means putting all the blame on his father?
Unlike Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), Liam hasn’t been as quick to badmouth Bill and seems more understanding about his dad’s desire to protect him. Liam wanted to leave Bill out of this entirely and didn’t see why his dad should pay, too.
However, Bill decided to confess anyway, so now they’re both in this tough predicament. Liam’s deal might require a statement where he acts like this is all Bill’s fault and strengthens the case against his dad.
Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) would probably prefer to have a slam dunk case against Bill than to throw the book at Liam.
Bill has quite a reputation and is the Spencer ringleader when it comes to getting away with things. Baker would love to put Bill away for a long time, so he might rely on Liam’s help.
Liam could do minimal jail time or avoid a prison sentence completely if he cooperates, but he might struggle since Bill was just trying to help him in his own twisted way.
If Liam hesitates on taking whatever deal Justin can lock in, it could lead to major clashing with Hope.
Regardless, Justin’s deal comment seemed significant and could set the stage for Liam to get a complicated offer eventually. We’ll provide updates as other B&B news rolls in.
