The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Monday, February 15, reveal that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) sat in the Forrester CEO office together.
Brooke wondered if Ridge was angry with her for not telling him about Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pregnancy, but Ridge said that he wasn’t.
Ridge’s phone pinged, and it was from Steffy saying that she was at the hospital with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), and that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) were on their way.
Just then, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) walked in the office and learned about Steffy’s paternity test results being in today.
In a roundabout way, Ridge, Thomas, and Brooke all agreed that the best outcome for everyone would be if Finn was the father of Steffy’s baby. Ridge was pleased that they all agreed on something for a change.
Later, Thomas told Brooke and Ridge how sorry he was for everything that he’s done and what it’s caused. Thomas said that he could see that Hope really loved Liam, and he hoped that she could forgive him. Thomas noted that Ridge had forgiven him, and that maybe someday Brooke would be able to as well.
Brooke said that she was impressed at how positive Thomas had been lately, and Ridge smiled at her. Thomas noted that right now his focus was on Hope and Steffy and them having whatever they need to be happy.
Thomas said that he had a lot to prove, and Brooke said that she was trying but hoped that Thomas wasn’t putting on an act. Ridge groaned.
Thomas indicated that he understood, and that he cared about what’s best for Hope. “Honestly, I believe that it’s finding out that the father of Steffy’s baby is Finn,” Thomas said earnestly.
At the hospital, Steffy and Finn waited in a waiting room. Steffy said the baby just had to be Finn’s, and Finn said that he loved Steffy and that they’d get through this together no matter what happened. Hope and Liam arrived in the waiting room, and then Dr. Campbell (Tina Huang) entered the room.
“Do you have them?” Steffy asked urgently. “Do you have the results of the paternity test?” Dr. Campbell said that the results weren’t back yet, but that she was expecting them any minute.
Dr. Campbell said that Steffy needed to watch her stress levels, then she took off. Finn agreed that they all needed to take a breath, since Steffy was carrying precious cargo.
Hope and Liam went to another room to talk privately and to give Steffy and Finn some space. Hope told Liam that she just wanted the results, and that the waiting seemed endless. Liam thanked Hope for being there, and Hope said that she promised she would be there for better or for worse.
Hope said that while what Liam did broke her heart, she wanted to try to move on. “I’m praying that this baby is Finn’s, so that Steffy can move on and we can try to start a new chapter,” Hope said.
Liam was thrilled to hear those words from Hope, and he said that he would work toward deserving Hope every day.
Back in the waiting room with Finn and Steffy, Finn said that he hoped the baby was his more than anything. Finn noted that he was so excited at the prospect of becoming a dad, and that they were on the brink of starting a family together.
Finn said that they’d be fine either way, and that when they were old and gray, they’d remember this as one of their happiest days.
Liam and Hope returned to the room, and Hope shared that she had just told Liam that she didn’t want to get stuck in the anger and hurt of all this. Steffy said that she appreciated how Hope was handling things.
Liam took the opportunity to apologize to everyone for how he behaved on the night of the mannequin debacle.
Just then, Dr. Campbell walked in with the paternity test results in hand. “I can’t wait another minute,” Steffy said urgently.
Steffy turned to Finn. “It’s you, Finn, it has to be you,” Steffy said, while Liam and Hope held hands. “Who’s the father of my baby?” Steffy asked Dr. Campbell urgently.
