The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) may feel like she needs to prove her love to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Steffy hurt Finn deeply by cheating with her ex-husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), so that led to major concerns for Finn. He adores Steffy, but he’s worried since Steffy’s still so connected to her former flame.
Finn’s been battling worries about Steffy’s feelings for him coming from a place of gratitude, but she’s assured him this is real love. Of course, B&B fans know actions speak louder than words!
Steffy may eventually determine that she needs to show Finn just how committed she is. That’s especially true if this baby turns out to be Liam’s and leaves her even more connected to him.
Finn claims it’s not a deal-breaker if Steffy’s child belongs to Liam, but there’s no denying that it’ll trouble him. Even if the baby is Finn’s, Liam will always be in Steffy’s life through their mutual link to Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray).
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say there’s no escaping Liam, so Steffy just has to prove to Finn that he’s the only man she wants.
How might Steffy prove that? Taking down the “Steam” picture in Steffy’s living room would be a nice start! However, we’re thinking bigger here. Since Finn’s looking for a firm commitment to their relationship, the best way to offer that is marriage.
Steffy might flip the script and suggest that they should tie the knot. Since Steffy and Finn have already spent so much time daydreaming about their future, Steffy could try to lock it in. She might want to elope right away if Finn’s on board.
If the baby is Liam’s, a proposal could show it doesn’t change anything for Steffy. She could insist Finn’s still who she wants and pop the question as proof. If the baby is Finn’s, Steffy might be so excited by the results that she suggests eloping to signal their fresh start.
Regardless, Steffy will be headed off canvas temporarily due to her maternity leave soon. If Finn goes with her, an elopement would make sense. Would it be a mistake for Finn to marry Steffy or could it be the reassurance Finn needs? As other B&B news comes in, we’ll bring you updates.
