The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, August 2, teases that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) will react to John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) rushed wedding surprise. Jack Finnegan (Ted King) will also have to make a decision about a huge secret he’s keeping, so there’ll be a lot going on in Monday’s exciting episode.
Jack just met Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) at the cliff house and was there to help Finn offer updates on their family background.
Finn made an adoption admission and got a supportive response from Steffy, so he’s no doubt relieved that this didn’t make any waves ahead of their wedding.
Speaking of that wedding, Steffy already admitted she wants to get married as soon as possible. Her one request was that both their families be present – and as luck would have it, Jack is in town and Li is on her way.
There’s nothing stopping Steffy and Finn from having the ASAP nuptials of their dreams!
After Li shows up following her later flight, she’ll eventually exchange introductions with Steffy and gush over her new grandbaby.
It won’t be long until Steffy and Finn announce that they want to get married almost immediately.
Li and Jack will certainly be taken aback by the news that the wedding’s happening so fast, but Finn and Steffy’s enthusiasm might be contagious.
Although Li will be a somewhat overprotective mom, she knows Steffy makes Finn happy and will surely be able to respect that.
There could be some issues between Li and Steffy down the road, but Finn’s mom will hopefully keep the peace early on. Of course, the Finnegans aren’t the only ones who need to hear about the ceremony happening right away.
Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has been hopeful about hearing wedding bells soon, so his wish will be granted.
Steffy will make sure the Forrester clan is filled in – and Eric Forrester (John McCook) will be glad to host the gathering at the Forrester mansion in the coming episodes.
There’ll be plenty of joy over Steffy and Finn’s big day, but Jack will have a secret lingering in the back of his mind. He’s been wondering if he should tell Finn and Steffy, but he must hate to rain on their parade right now.
Jack will have to decide if he’s going to come clean or delay this confession of his. If Jack and Finn have decided to end their marriage, that might be something they both want to put off telling Finn.
There’s no point in dragging Finn and Steffy down right before they’re about to make this big commitment.
On the other hand, Jack might’ve found out something related to Finn’s birth mother.
B&B spoilers say a mystery lady will spark conflict at the upcoming nuptials, so it makes sense for her to be a new love interest of Jack’s or perhaps Finn’s bio mom.
Either way, Jack will probably keep his mouth shut and let “Sinn” have this celebratory wedding time.
