The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, June 1, teases that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will be tricked into letting Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) confess, so Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) will be ready with murder accusations.
Liam will come up with some excuse to fool Bill and keep him busy elsewhere, so that’ll give Liam a chance to spill a modified version of what happened. Of course, it’s risky for Liam to come forward with anything less than the truth!
Liam would rather be able to give Baker the real story, but he just can’t do it – not when it means Bill could be taken away from his young son. B&B fans know Liam’s trying to preserve Bill’s place in Will Spencer’s (Finnegan George) life.
Liam understands confessing is his choice to make, but he’s not going to pull Bill into this if he can help it.
Once Bill discovers he’s been deceived and that Liam’s already in the process of confessing, he’ll hit the roof. Bill will feel like Liam’s throwing his life away for no good reason and will be desperate to save his behind.
That means Bill will plan a confession of his own – one that he’ll use to try to shift the blame away from Liam in the coming episodes. Until then, Liam will stumble through Baker’s interrogation as he faces questions about the aftermath of Vinny’s death.
Liam will no doubt be asked why he didn’t call for paramedics – and why he felt the need to make it look like a robbery by getting rid of Vinny’s wallet and phone.
There’s also the missing vehicle to consider, so Liam will struggle to answer everything without incriminating Bill.
The truth is Liam doesn’t look like an innocent man here. Liam’s going to look like someone who committed a vengeful murder despite his claims that it was an accident.
Deputy Chief Baker’s reaction to Liam’s confession will let him know things are about to get ugly. If Liam had any lingering hope of explaining away his actions, it’ll disappear during this grilling session.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will be placed under arrest for the murder of Vinny Walker by midweek, so Liam will have to brace for that next step during all Tuesday’s drama.
