The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Amanda Wins Sutton’s Case, Guilty Twist Follows – Grandfather Really Did Kill Bio Dad?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will enjoy feeling like a real part of the family. Amanda’s commitment to Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) case is really winning her grandfather over, but that’s mostly because she’s showing loyalty at her father’s expense.

Amanda is willing to paint Richard Nealon as a greedy blackmailer if that’s what it takes to form a solid defense strategy. Y&R fans know Amanda has never lost a case, so she’s looking to protect her perfect record along with her new place in the family.

Now that Amanda’s starting to feel a sense of acceptance, she certainly doesn’t want to do anything to jeopardize that or this case. However, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda will soon realize it’s probably not a good idea to mix family with legal help!

May sweeps will bring a buried secret for Amanda to uncover – one that leaves her alarmed and uncertain of whether she’s doing the right thing. Y&R fans can expect Amanda to learn something about Sutton’s past that throws her for a loop. There’ll be some discovery that leads Amanda to believe Sutton is indeed a criminal.

It doesn’t look like Amanda will find evidence that links Sutton to the murder of her father, but she’ll definitely find proof that Sutton hasn’t been completely honest about his shady history. Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) might play a big role in how this shocker is revealed.

Perhaps Imani will argue that Amanda has no clue how their family operates. Imani may insist Amanda should get out now before it’s too late to turn back. She may view Amanda as a wildcard attorney whose conscience could put Sutton’s freedom at risk.

The Young and the Restless spoilers indeed point to a bit of a moral dilemma for Amanda as this storyline moves along. Nevertheless, the pull of this new family will be awfully strong. Not to mention Amanda isn’t the kind of gal who likes to back down from a fight.

Amanda is excited about defending Sutton and pulling off a victory, so it may be hard for her to tear herself away from this case. Even if Amanda tries, Sutton might threaten his granddaughter or at least guilt-trip her into sticking with it.

The most dramatic option here might be for Amanda to do what she does best and pull off an impressive courtroom win. Once Amanda gets Sutton off the hook for killing Richard, will she find out her grandfather was guilty all along?

Imagine Amanda’s horror if she got suckered into defending Sutton when he actually ordered the death of her bio dad! Since Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is caught up in all this, maybe he could be the one who sheds some light on that bombshell for Amanda.
