The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, October 29 Recap – Abby Cries Over Chance Wedding Ring – Nick’s Secret Spills

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, October 29, teases that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will cry over Chance Chancellor’s (soon-to-be Connor Floyd) wedding ring discovery while Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) secret spills.

At the Chancellor mansion on Friday’s Y&R episode, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will push frazzled Abby to eat something and keep her strength up.

After Abby has a sandwich, Victor will admit he found out some news through his sources. He’ll confirm that someone learned Chance was using that building as a safehouse and targeted him along with his colleagues.

Victor will also point out that four of Chance’s team members were killed, but Abby will argue that Chance wasn’t on the list. She’ll think that’s a good sign and will refuse to believe Chance died in the bombing.

Abby will admit that Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) wanted to wait for confirmation before she told Nina Webster (Tricia Cast).

Victor will think Nina deserves to know what they know, so Abby will vow to get in touch with Christine and urge her to give Nina updates.

At the park, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will fret over “Bowie” aka Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor potentially never getting to meet his dad.

Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will worry about Mariah’s attachment to the baby, but Mariah will insist it’s not like that. She’ll assure Tessa that her thoughts are just naturally drifting to the baby after everything that’s gone down.

Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will be out for a jog when he bumps into Mariah and Tessa. While Mariah’s dealing with a work call, Tessa will fill Noah in on the Chance situation.

Noah will promise to keep the news to himself and will know all of this has to be hard for Mariah as well as Tessa.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) place, he’ll find out Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has decided to take the stand in Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) case. Devon will admit that worries him, but he’ll still support Amanda 100 percent.

Amanda will wonder if Devon ever gets tired of being the nicest guy on the planet, but Devon will argue that he’s no saint. He’ll admit that he’s angry with Chance, even though it’s not justified.

Devon will fully intend to give Chance a piece of his mind if he comes home – and Amanda will truly hope Devon gets that opportunity.

Since Devon will obviously be concerned about Abby and the baby, Amanda will encourage him to head to the Chancellor mansion and check in.

Back at the mansion, Abby will tear up as Victor holds Dominic. She’ll decide she can’t be around the baby when she’s so emotional and will rush out right as Mariah arrives.

Victor won’t have time to explain, but he’ll ask Mariah to take Dominic while he goes after Abby.

Once Victor catches up with Abby in the park, she’ll admit she doesn’t know why she’s such a mess. Abby will insist she knows in her heart that Chance is alive.

Victor will assure Abby that he’s there for her no matter what and will pull her into a warm embrace. He’ll also be by Abby’s side later when Christine delivers another round of bad news.

Devon, Mariah, Victor and Abby will all be there as Christine pulls out a baggie with a ring found at the explosion site.

It turns out Chance worked the wedding ring into his married businessman cover story so he never had to take it off.

Christine will hand the ring over and ask Abby to confirm that it belongs to Chance. As tears stream down Abby’s cheeks, she’ll take the ring from Christine. “It can’t be!” Abby will cry out in despair.

In Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) suite, Nick will offer up some of her favorite dishes as a small gesture. He’ll think it’s time for them to have a hardcore talk and try to get through this.

Nick will apologize for taking his family anger out on Phyllis recently, but she’ll think their conflict runs deeper.

Phyllis will guess they first went out of sync around the time she went after Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Nick just kept giving Phyllis warning after warning, but going overboard is in Phyllis’ DNA. Phyllis will suggest it was almost hurtful for Nick to ask her to change that.

Nick will point out that family is a big thing for him. He’ll wonder if it was really productive for Phyllis to take issue with that. Phyllis will remind Nick that when they first got back together, they agreed to let each other be themselves. She’ll note that Nick isn’t going to change, his family isn’t going to change and neither is she.

Nick will think what matters is that they love each other and are happy, but Phyllis will admit she’s not happy right now. She’ll think if Nick’s being honest, he’s not happy either.

Nick will get offended since he’ll feel like Phyllis is accusing him of not being honest – or else she’s saying he’s not smart enough to understand how he truly feels.

Nick will suggest that some people say what they have is easy and comfortable, but he’ll add that he doesn’t agree. Phyllis will wonder who’s saying that and will be upset since Nick’s obviously been going to someone for advice about their relationship.

Nick won’t reveal that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) was the one who weighed in and will put the focus on Phyllis’ bond with Jack.

After Nick suggests Jack is waiting in the wings for Phyllis, she’ll fire back that Jack is just a friend.

Nick will remind Phyllis that Jack declared he still loved her. He won’t think Phyllis can go running off to Jack every time they have a problem.

Phyllis will argue that this conversation should be about them and nobody else, so Nick will need to know if they’re in this together or not.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick and Phyllis are headed for Splitsville soon, so don’t miss what’s ahead.
