The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will soon get some bad news. As Y&R viewers know, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) recently got some horrible news about their prospects of having a biological child together.
Abby and Chance’s dream was burst big time, all happening after they had Mariah set to be their gestational carrier.
Well, Mariah will be truly disappointed and heartbroken for Abby and Chance. And since Chance will no longer be appearing on the show and will apparently disappear, it seems that Mariah’s services as a gestational carrier will no longer be needed.
After all the buildup and anticipation for Mariah about being pregnant and going through nine months of big changes, it will all be a big letdown.
But we have a feeling that Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) just might get busy considering their options after the surrogacy plan goes awry.
According to Y&R spoilers, Mariah and Tessa will have a touching conversation during which they consider the possibility of getting married and having children of their own in the future.
And we can’t help but wonder if Mariah and Tessa will accelerate those plans once Mariah’s no longer going to be a gestational carrier for Abby and Chance.
Of course, with Mariah and Tessa, either of them could carry a baby, so they’ll have options. But with Mariah on the road touring a lot, it would probably be Mariah who ends up carrying a baby.
Might Mariah decide to go ahead and try to get pregnant in the near future? If that’s the route she and Tessa go, then there may be a whole new discussion soon as to who should he their donor!
It would be an exciting time for Mariah and Tessa, but one person who would probably be devastated by the whole thing would be Abby. After all, Abby is going to be giving up a lot of dreams.
If Chance does indeed go missing, then she’ll be without a life partner and with no real prospects of having a family anytime soon. Abby could slip into a depression simply over that.
But if Mariah and Tessa go forward with their plans to have a baby soon, then Abby’s going to be reminded every time she sees Mariah about how she’s missing out on the experience of having a baby while Mariah and Tessa are living the dream.
One thing’s for sure, and that’s that Abby is going to have a tough time going forward.
We’ll see how things shake out, but we suspect that Mariah and Tessa could end up discussing a family sooner rather than later. Do you think Mariah and Tessa will go ahead and add a baby to the mix?
