The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Max Rayburn’s (Jared Breeze) facility location could offer a huge clue. It seems like Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) must be held near Ben “Stitch” Rayburn’s (Sean Carrigan) son if the doc is indeed her captor, so that could narrow the search area considerably.
Y&R fans know Stitch has obviously been telling some lies lately since he acted like he scored the chief of surgery position at the hospital. That job actually went to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so something fishy is going on.
However, Stitch seemed genuine when Mariah first asked him about his life now. He shrugged that he mainly just worked and visited Max, so Max is clearly a priority.
Assuming that Stitch snatched Mariah, where would he take her? That’s something Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will have to figure out, but it may be tough if Stitch won’t talk or bolts and the cell signal’s still scrambled.
Rey might have to think about what’s important to Stitch and what he might’ve wanted to be close to. It’d be risky to keep Mariah in Genoa City, so Rey might consider the area near Max’s facility.
After all, Stitch hasn’t been hanging around GC since he went home claiming he was going to pack, but he hasn’t shown his face to Mariah either.
Stitch has to be somewhere doing something, so he’s probably spending his time visiting Max – all while being nearby Mariah in case something were to go wrong with the baby.
It’d certainly help the search if Rey pinpoints that Mariah might be near this facility in Iowa City. Rey could perhaps look at security footage to see what direction Stitch went when he came to and from visiting Max.
That’d narrow the search down even more and might help Rey determine which properties in the area could serve as a makeshift prison for Mariah. There’d be the potential for more clues and a big break that leads to Mariah’s rescue.
Of course, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) may keep working on trying to unscramble the phone signal, which could provide another path to Mariah’s discovery.
Regardless, the walls may soon be closing in on Stitch, who needs to get busted and hopefully get some mental help if he’s responsible.
