The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, December 27, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will make a bold move while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) wrestles with a Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor dilemma. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will also get a blast from the past, so here’s what viewers can expect.
For starters, Chelsea will want to show Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) who’s in charge. Y&R fans know Chelsea has been worried about Sally not understanding her place at the fashion platform.
Chelsea and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) are running the show, so Chelsea will think Sally needs to get schooled on that.
Of course, Chelsea also wants Sally to know her place when it comes to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). From where Chelsea’s standing, Sally needs to be sent a strong message – one that helps her see she’s an outsider who should do what she’s told.
Chelsea will end up shutting Sally out of some big plans with Chloe. There’ll be a meeting about the fashion platform’s future that Sally apparently won’t be invited to join.
Sally may stumble across the meeting and realize Chelsea’s sending a different sort of memo by excluding her.
Meanwhile, Devon will need some advice from Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). As Devon contemplates how much he misses Dominic and reflects on Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) suggestion, he’ll consider seeking more time with the baby.
Amanda doesn’t think there’s any harm in asking, but that’s not true.
Devon must know this could make things awkward and perhaps turn the new parents off with his pushiness. At the same time, Devon’s heart will really be aching for some private moments with Dom at the penthouse.
Nate was afraid Devon might struggle to hand Dominic back over, so his fears will be confirmed. He may want Devon to really think this through before he does anything drastic.
Nate will offer guidance on how to handle the tricky situation, but Devon will move forward with a shared custody plan whether Nate approves or not.
As for Chance, he’ll reunite with a familiar face. It looks like Chance will pay a visit to Adam at the ranch, so they’ll be able to talk and resolve any issues from the past.
Adam and Chance have always had a complicated bond, but they saved each other’s lives and should take advantage of this opportunity to reconnect.
