The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, September 6 Update – Ashland's Lawbreaker Vow – Victor Jeopardizes Victoria Wedding

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, September 6, reveals that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will vow that he’s now a lawbreaker – and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan will jeopardize Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) wedding. Let’s talk about what’s coming up in Monday’s drama-filled Y&R episode.

In the park, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will enjoy the view when he stumbles across Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in workout clothes.

They’ll hint about dinner plans before Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) comes along and panics over Sally’s interest in Adam as usual.

In a moment alone with Sally, Chloe will offer more warnings and will fish to find out what happened at the launch party. She won’t be pleased over the kiss, but Sally will note that Adam was the one who pumped the brakes so fast it gave her whiplash.

Sally will think Adam’s toxic admission shows growth and won’t be impressed with Chloe’s talk about her boring healthy relationship. However, Chloe will ultimately say something that sinks in for Sally and convinces her to take a step back.

Since Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) still thinks his parents are together and has had a tough life so far, Sally will corner Adam later with a new proposal. She’ll think it’s best if they reset things and try to go back to before the locked lips.

Adam will find out it’s because of Connor and will agree his son is what’s most important – though Sally will suggest they can still have dinner if they turn into a work thing. Suddenly, Adam will take a call from Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and leave Sally hanging.

Y&R spoilers tell us that Adam and Sally won’t be able to to off of the passion for long as the new promo below for the week of September 6-10 clearly indicates.

At Crimson Lights, Victoria will insist Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) needs to butt out of Ashland’s life and their life together as well. She’ll be frustrated when Billy seems hung up on Ashland’s two news stations and where he got the money to acquire them.

Billy will also remain curious about the mysterious older female mentor and what kind of relationship Ashland had with her.

After Victoria lashes out, she’ll hit the exit and give Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) his own chance to bicker with Billy. Nick will suggest he’d be more willing to join Billy’s investigative team if he had more than suspicions to go on.

Even so, Billy will think Ashland’s hiding something huge and won’t rest until he uncovers everything so Victoria can protect herself.

As for Victor, he’ll await Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s first homecoming along with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case), Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Nina Webster (Tricia Cast).

When Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) shows up bearing gifts, he’ll be encouraged to stay as part of this supportive family.

While Mariah’s waiting on her final paperwork to be resolved at the hospital, she’ll worry about Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) potentially causing more trouble.

Abby Newman-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will promise they’ve added security to ensure safety.

Mariah will privately confide her fear of leaving the hospital during a conversation with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). The thought of leaving that safe hospital bubble will be tough – especially since Mariah will know things are going to be so different back at the Chancellor mansion.

Tessa will give Mariah a pep talk since Mariah will still be able to see the baby. Although calling him Dominic instead of Bowie will take some getting used to, Mariah will try to stay optimistic about the difficult situation.

Unfortunately, Mariah will get overwhelmed after she winds up back at the house with Tessa, Abby and Dominic.

Abby will show off the baby while Mariah stands there looking left out and somber. Mariah will also stammer as she tries to explain her captivity ordeal, but Tessa will lead her off to the park as an escape.

That’ll bring Mariah’s confession about just how hard this is, but Tessa will be supportive once again.

As for Sharon, she’ll fret over how severe Mariah’s crisis was. Abby will feel like all is right in the world with little Dominic in her arms and will vow not to let anybody take her baby from her again.

At Society, Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) eyes will practically bug out when Ashland offers a substantial donation to fund his new surgical wing – enough to pay for half of it! Nate won’t think it’s necessary to repay his recent kindness, but he’ll certainly appreciate it.

Ashland and Nate will wind up making plans to have a meal together – and they’ll plan to include Victoria and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), too. When Victoria finds out about this dinner, she’ll be somewhat distracted.

Victoria will eventually come clean about her encounter with relentless Billy and will push Ashland to confess if he’s hiding anything else.

Victoria will assure Ashland that he can tell her anything and will bring up the situation with the two news stations in particular.

Ashland will act like he’s an open book with Victoria and will make it clear that he’s never broken the law. If Billy or anyone else wants to try proving that’s not the case, Ashland will dare them to try.

Back with Victor, he’ll warn Billy to mind his own business and will tell a fib about a random Newman Media employee busting Billy in his private suite. Victor will protect Nick’s role in squealing on Billy because he’ll want his son to play double agent.

Nick will agree to keep the lines of communication open with Billy and fill his dad in on whatever he learns about Ashland. Victor will want to uncover any dirty details before the wedding and will imply that there may not even be one.

As for Elena, she’ll tell Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about Victor’s job offer and promise she never even thought about taking it.

Elena and Lily will also head to the coffeehouse for some friendly bonding, which will lead to some talk about the surrogacy situation. Lily will know it’s messy, but she’ll have a feeling it’s all going to work out.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will remain drawn to Dominic in the coming weeks, so that could lead to more issues.
