The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, July 15, tease that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) will play referee for Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will trick Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) while Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) gets a surprise reunion.
First, let’s talk about Stitch’s lingering presence in Genoa City. It took Stitch forever to stay goodbye following the retirement party – and now here he is again!
That’s obviously a huge clue that Stitch is going to be pretty important to Abby’s storyline, which ties in with pregnant Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) disappearance.
Sharon’s set to bump into a friendly face from the past, so it seems likely that’ll be Stitch. Perhaps Stitch will grab a cup of coffee at Crimson Lights again and catch up with Sharon in the process.
There’s a good chance Stitch was the one who sent the reassuring text to Sharon from Mariah’s phone.
Mariah certainly isn’t staying away and worrying her loved ones by choice, so this has to be a kidnapping scenario – and the clues add up for Stitch to be responsible.
It looks like Stitch will keep secrets as he heads back to the Chancellor mansion, where Abby and Tessa will end up getting into a fight.
They may disagree on whether Mariah’s texts seem legit and what they should do if they aren’t.
Y&R spoilers say Stitch will get in the middle of all this and try to play peacemaker, but he won’t be as helpful as he seems!
While Stitch is acting like he’s this stand-up guy, he’ll probably have Mariah locked up somewhere against her will.
Over with Phyllis, she’ll return from her trip to Italy and try to deceive Tara.
Phyllis will do her best to get close to Genoa City’s shadiest blonde, but she’ll do it with an agenda in mind.
Since Tara is such a schemer, Phyllis will hope to befriend her and see if she can find out more about what she’s up to.
Of course, Tara may suspect that Phyllis is just pretending to be nice. After all, Tara’s awfully good at that herself!
Tara may proceed with caution when it comes to any friendship Phyllis tries to form, but Phyllis will still work hard to take Tara down!
