The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, April 6 Recap – Sally’s Blackmail Blowup – Ashland Plays Mind Games with Kyle

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, April 6, teases that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will warn Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) that he shouldn’t take her presence as a sign she’s convinced of his innocence.

Adam will just be glad Sharon’s there – and he’ll once again insist he wouldn’t have sunk to this level with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso).

When Sharon questions who would’ve instead, Adam will think there’s only one person: Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).

Sharon will argue that Chelsea can barely move, but Adam will insist that Chelsea’s been faking her condition and will explain how she smiled before dropping her head.

Adam caught Chelsea when she thought no one was looking, so he’ll use that as evidence.

Sharon will still struggle to think Chelsea could pull off such an elaborate plot, but Adam will argue that Chelsea was a con artist for years. He’ll also think Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was helping Chelsea, but he’ll sense that Sharon still doesn’t believe him.

Meanwhile, Chloe will arrive at the penthouse, where Chelsea’s nurse will inform her that she’s not comfortable working there any longer due to the whole situation with Adam.

Afterward, Chelsea will smile over this development since the nurse will be out of the way.

At Chancellor Communications, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will talk to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about doing a follow-up on their Adam expose.

Lily will think it’d be repetitive and just another attack on Adam, so she’ll really want Billy to drop this.

Lily will continue to stand against teaming up with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to go after Cyaxares as well, so Billy will ask if it’s because Victoria is his ex.

After Lily admits that’s part of it, she’ll add that she’s wary of getting in the middle of a Newman war. Lily won’t believe it’s worth the cost and will expect Billy to see that if he puts some real thought into it.

At Crimson Lights, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will call “Grams” aka Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) on a video chat.

Shirley will worry that Sally’s either in trouble or plotting something, but Sally will insist she just wanted to tell her grams how well things were going personally and professionally.

Shirley will offer gratitude for the check Sally sent since things have been tough lately. She’ll also fish to find out who Sally’s involved with, so Sally will mention Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) name.

“Grams” will recognize the name and learn Jack is the co-CEO of Jabot, so she’ll be impressed over Sally dating such a big shot.

After Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) comes in, she’ll want Sally to level with her on what’s going on with Summer. Sally will insist that Summer’s the one who went to LA to dig up dirt.

Lauren will point out that she could call Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) or Eric Forrester (John McCook) to get the scoop right now, but she’d rather hear the truth from Sally.

However, Sally will argue that her reasons for seeking a fresh start outside of LA are private. She’ll argue that they were none of Summer’s business, but Summer’s the kind of person who had to do a preemptive strike.

Sally will contend that she had to protect herself, so Lauren will wonder what exactly Sally did.

After Sally admits she sought some “insurance” to make sure Summer didn’t tell the whole world about her past, Lauren will insist some people might call that blackmail!

Lauren will flip out since she took a chance on Sally as a new hire and expected better of her. Lauren will argue that she’s deeply disappointed in Sally and will need some time to figure out what she’s going to do about it.

At Society, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will laugh off Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) question about whether he slept with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).

Kyle will act like Ashland must be playing games with him, so Ashland will ultimately claim Kyle passed the test. He’ll argue that if Kyle had gotten indignant, then he would’ve known his suspicions were true.

As Summer watches and listens nearby, Ashland will suggest that it’s a relief to know he was mistaken. Then, Ashland will turn a bit menacing again and warn that if he were to find out someone slept with Tara, that person would be in a world of trouble.

Summer will eventually interrupt, so Ashland will suggest he’s got some matters to attend to anyway. Once Ashland takes off, Kyle will explain how he pretended Ashland’s question about sleeping with Tara must’ve been a joke.

Summer will assume it worked since they parted ways on friendly terms, but Kyle will warn that things may not always be how they seem – especially with a guy like Ashland Locke!

At Jabot, Jack will call Kyle and hope his son gets in touch with Ashland updates soon. Once Jack hangs up, Billy will appear and ask for a sounding board.

Once Billy explains that Victoria wants an alliance to go after Cyaxares, he’ll admit that he really wants to beat Victor.

Walking away from this deal would kill Billy, but he’ll worry his relationship with Lily may never be the same if he moves forward. In fact, Billy will fear it could be the end of it!

When Billy asks for advice, Jack won’t think his brother needs it. “You know exactly what to do,” Jack will insist.

Next, Billy will track Victoria down to inform her ChancComm will be passing on her offer to team up. Victoria will warn Billy that Victor could still finalize the deal despite the accusations against Adam.

Billy will feel confident he can handle whatever Victor throws his way, but Victoria will insist her father will destroy him. She’ll wish Billy would let her throw him a lifeline.

Billy will think Victoria’s desire to help is coming from a good place, but he’ll refuse to change his mind. Victoria will wonder who’s really calling the shots: Billy or Lily.

Billy will tell Victoria to take this as a warning and will contend that she shouldn’t “go there again.”

Back at the boathouse, Adam will work to convince Sharon that Chelsea was behind the text messages. He’ll swear on his life that he didn’t go after Rey.

Adam will speculate that maybe Chelsea’s stroke had a deeper psychological impact and that she blames him for her condition. He’ll add that maybe his well-intentioned plan of having Sharon help Chelsea backfired and created resentment.

Sharon will bring up Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and question of Chelsea would really do this to her son.

Adam will argue that Chelsea may think she’s protecting Connor – and he’ll point out that Chelsea surely has no intention of getting caught. Adam will also have no intention of letting Chelsea get away with it since she clearly needs help.

Sharon will push Adam to turn himself in, but he won’t think his theory will be taken seriously. Instead, Adam will want Sharon to help him prove Chelsea’s true condition.

Adam will think Sharon can reveal that she knows where Adam is and has been helping him as a way to goad Chelsea. It might even lure Chelsea into following Sharon in hopes of finding Adam.

Sharon will complain over the trap and will think Adam’s plan has so many holes in it. Nevertheless, Adam will assure Sharon that she’s his only hope and will ask if she’ll help him.

Sharon will hastily put her coat on and admit this is all too much. However, Adam will just want Sharon to keep a mind about what he’s told her and stay silent about his location.

Over with Chelsea again, she’ll suspect Adam has left the country by now. Chloe will counter that Adam must be close since the authorities are monitoring the nearby airstrips. She’ll insist that Adam has to be plotting his next move.

After more bickering, Chloe will argue that they can’t just hope Adam will go away. “We have to take care of Adam before he takes care of us,” Chloe will warn.

Once Kyle makes it to Jabot, he’ll give Jack updates on his conversation with Ashland.

Kyle will talk about how played off Ashland’s question about sleeping with Tara as a joke, but he won’t know where that leaves him. Kyle will admit he couldn’t get a read on Ashland.

Jack will think Ashland’s mind games are typical of him since he’s a master manipulator. He’ll feel like Kyle did as well as he could under the circumstances, but he’ll still assume Ashland knows about the affair.

Kyle will think the real thing to ponder now is what Ashland’s going to do next.

As Ashland enters his hotel suite, he’ll make a call to secure all the financial details of Jabot. Ashland will want to highlight the company’s weaknesses.

“I need to know where the company is most vulnerable,” Ashland will insist before disconnecting and smirking in satisfaction.

At Society on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Sally will corner Summer and confront her about blabbing to Lauren.

Summer will express confusion, but Sally will accuse her rival of going to Lauren and revealing that Sally was holding something over her. “You betrayed my trust, Summer. It’s a big mistake,” Sally will declare.

Summer will deny whispering anything in Lauren’s ear, but Sally will argue that all signs point to Summer. She’ll suggest it’s fine if Summer doesn’t want to admit it, but she won’t forget that Summer did this.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren will have a plan to promote peace between Summer and Sally soon, but will it help or hurt? CDL’s your go-to source for terrific Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly.
