The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 27, tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will romance Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and prove he’s falling hard. As for Summer Newman (Hunter King), she’ll be haunted by her forced goodbye to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Sally has been making slow and steady progress with Jack, who understandably doesn’t trust her. Jack should really trust his instincts, but that’s hard when he’s so captivated by the gorgeous redhead and her can-do spirit.
There’s just something deeply alluring about Sally from where Jack’s standing, so he’ll shove his doubts aside and keep pursuing whatever this is.
That means Sally will get the romantic Jack Abbott treatment and love every minute of it. Jack will pull off a surprise for Sally, which should include something special on their next date.
Sally will test the waters to find out if Jack’s willing to leave the friend zone soon. She’ll certainly hope so, but she’ll have to watch out for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who’ll be working hard to crumble her world.
Phyllis won’t stop until Sally and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) are exposed for their roles in pushing Summer out of town. However, Tara’s whining will lead to Kyle blowing up Phyllis on Tuesday, July 27.
Y&R spoilers say Kyle will warn Phyllis to butt out and back off. He’ll try to convince Phyllis that Tara is a good person who never meant to derail Summer’s life.
Kyle will feel like Summer made her choice and that’s that, but Phyllis will think her daughter was forced into that decision – and fans know she’s right!
In Milan, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will sense trouble following lunch with Summer.
These intuitive grandparents will pick up on the fact that Summer’s too enthusiastic about her total life overhaul.
Summer will act completely content, but Nikki and Victor won’t be sure they buy it. Despite Summer’s fantastic new job at Marchetti, there’s still the matter of her heartbreak to contend with.
Nikki will be especially convinced that Summer’s feeling blue about Kyle, so she’ll push for honesty while Victor’s taking a call.
Whether Summer confesses her sorrow or not, she’ll definitely have that emotional goodbye on her mind and wish things had turned out differently with the man she loves. Summer will fret over how Kyle’s holding up as well, so she’ll have a lot weighing on her.
Let’s hope Nikki can get Summer to drop her guard and finally open up about her wounded heart. We’ll offer updates as other Y&R news roll in.
