The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for update for the week of June 7-11 teases that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will dig into Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) past while Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) makes a grand gesture. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also need some help, so here’s what you can expect in the coming episodes.
Y&R fans know Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) doesn’t trust Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and probably never will, so she’ll think a partnership between Newman Media and New Hope is a bad idea.
Phyllis may not deny that the platform would be beneficial, but she’ll worry about Nick getting sucked back in the Newman vortex.
Nick will acknowledge that he has to be cautious, but he’ll like what he’s seeing so far when it comes to the changes in Adam. As for Victor, Nick should think he can handle him.
Nick will probably act like Phyllis is overreacting, but she’ll feel like there’s no such thing as overreacting when it comes to the conniving Newman clan.
Meanwhile, Adam and Victor will spar over their Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) strategy once again. Victor was willing to hold off on their retaliation, but he won’t wait forever.
Adam thought he’d be the one running the show at Newman Media, but it should become painfully obvious that it’s still going to be Victor’s way or the highway.
As for Billy, he’ll stir up more trouble by hoping to score dirt on Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and all his marriage drama.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) won’t want Billy creating some big scandal that could hurt Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), so he’ll drop the bomb about Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) child and push Billy to chill.
Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will get confirmation on Kyle’s son as well during a chat with Summer Newman (Hunter King). After Summer listens to what Abby has to say, she’ll form a new plan of attack.
Summer will overcompensate for her Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) insecurities by showering Kyle with affection and trying to rush him toward the altar – so Summer and Kyle’s wedding will be back on.
Back with Adam, he’ll stand up for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and encourage Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to just let the woman recover in peace.
Adam will voice his displeasure over Rey’s mind games, but he won’t stop Rey from investigating the true nature of Chelsea’s condition. That’s something Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will be quite interested in as well.
Adam will also cross paths with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who’ll offer a warning about not breaking his father’s heart. Victor is excited to have this chance to bond with Adam again, so Nikki won’t want Adam to destroy things like he used to.
Amanda will find herself dwelling on what might’ve been again despite her claims she wouldn’t. It’ll be impossible to resist when Amanda gathers more information and sees just how close her father came to claiming her.
Back with Victor, he’ll want to find out what Amanda is hiding. The Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) case will seem personal to Victor, so he’ll resolve to figure out what Amanda’s connection to Sutton is.
It probably won’t take long for Victor to realize Amanda is Sutton’s granddaughter – and that Richard “Rick” Nealon was her father.
Summer will hit some obstacles as she tries to bond with Harrison, but she’ll give it her best shot. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be busy taking a gamble with a new ally, but she’ll hope it pays off in the form of getting sweet revenge.
Lily will need some assistance in the week ahead, so she’ll count on Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to help her out. We’ll also see Jack support Tara with some useful guidance, but can she really be trusted?
Something tells us Ashland was right to warn Jack about who he was dealing with!
Finally, Ashland will have a romantic New York night in mind for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), so he’ll hope she’s willing to take a leap of faith with him. As other Y&R news and updates come in, we’ll keep you in the loop.
