The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, May 5, tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will fear the worst following the roof cave-in. On Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Nick shoves Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) out of the way when debris threatens to fall on him.
That’ll leave the brothers separated on Wednesday – with Adam having the ability to escape while Nick’s stuck on the other side of the ceiling collapse aftermath. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will make a risky decision, so let’s think about what that means.
We know Adam will be presented with the option of following through on the plan to save Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) or going back on the run. Nick won’t be in a position to stop Adam if he chooses the latter.
However, Y&R’s weekly preview video shows Adam unconscious in the rubble as Nick warns his brother not to die on him. Faith’s life depends on whether Adam can make it home alive for a kidney transplant, so the stakes will certainly be high.
Adam might decide to help Nick and land in this rubble predicament when more debris falls. Of course, Adam’s decision could come later – once he awakens in the rubble and realizes what just happened.
If Adam can get up and walk, he might have to leave Nick behind and rush home for Faith’s sake if that’s what Nick insists on.
Regardless, there’ll be some intense scenes going down in that storm cellar! Back in Genoa City, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get some shocking news and pass it along to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
That may involve updates on this tornado and the delay on getting the Newman jet back home with Faith’s life-saving donation.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will enjoy going out to dinner for the first time in months. Chelsea will hobble around with a cane and pretend her recovery has just now progressed to that point.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will apparently move past her issues with Chelsea – at least enough so that they can have a civil dinner together as allies again.
There’ll be a bombshell waiting for the ladies once they head back to Chelsea’s penthouse later.
Victor will be sitting there in the dark and will want to have a little chat with Chelsea, so Chloe will choose to scram. After Victor mocks Chelsea for acting like she needs a cane, he’ll reveal why he showed up like this.
Victor will announce that he’ll take custody of Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) away unless Chelsea confesses to nearly killing Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) with a poisoning plot.
