The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for the week of April 12-16 teases that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will corner Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and hope for answers regarding Richard Nealon’s death.
Amanda will lay out the facts of the case, which will offend Victor since he’ll act like she’s accusing him of bribery.
However, Amanda will clarify that she’s not blaming Victor directly. An illegal arrangement was made between Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) office and an unknown Newman executive, so Amanda will suggest Victor might’ve just been in the dark on it.
It turns out the reporter who accused Sutton has already been pestering Victor with questions about the corruption and the crash, so he’ll warn Amanda that he won’t be of any help to her.
Victor will set Amanda straight about keeping him out of this. He won’t want Newman Enterprises used as some way to shift responsibility away from Sutton.
Of course, Amanda will continue to dig since Sutton could be arrested soon. There are some shady things afoot – and that goes for Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and his hidden agenda, too.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will look forward to their future together, but a relationship hurdle will land in their path soon after.
That’ll no doubt come courtesy of Ashland, who’ll also make trouble for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) through Jabot. Y&R spoilers say Victor will face his own curveball when the Cyaxares deal falls through, so that’ll lead to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) making a play for it.
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will do the same, so this will become a battle decided by a coin toss in Ashland’s suite.
After Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) explains her theory about Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) setting Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) up, Rey will find that Adam has bailed on the hideout he was last seen at.
Rey will suspect Sharon sounded the alarm, but he’ll turn his attention to Chelsea at the penthouse.
Chelsea will pretend she can only speak just enough to blame Sharon for harboring a fugitive. Rey will try to figure out if Chelsea’s faking her lack of mobility, but Victor will know for a fact later!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say there’ll be no doubt in Victor’s mind that Chelsea’s faking and set Adam up, so he’ll warn that she’s not going to get away with it.
Next, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will sit down with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and wonder if she’s willing to try being friends again. Elena will stun Nate by admitting she doesn’t think she can do that – not genuine friends anyway.
It turns out Elena believes she’s now over Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), so she’ll want another chance with Nate romantically.
Meanwhile, Jack will meet with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and hope to clear the air. Now that Jack knows about Sally’s horrible LA history, they need to get a few things straight.
Jack might have some rules when it comes to telling the truth and what he expects from Sally if they’re going to continue down a romantic path.
