The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Week of January 18 – Sharon Angers Victor – Sneaky Gloria – Chelsea’s Setback – Abby’s Heartbreak

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 18-22 tease that some surprising developments are in store. First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will take some positive steps forward in his relationship with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

Y&R fans know Adam accepted Victor’s help in securing a top-notch specialist for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Things will continue to improve as Adam relies on his father when he needs him most.

However, Adam and Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) bond will cause some issues. Chelsea will grow upset over Adam’s connection to his ex, so she may overhear something and have an intense reaction.

Chelsea’s set to have a setback after pushing beyond her limitations, so she may feel like she’s going to lose Adam to Sharon if she doesn’t move this recovery process along.

As for Victor, he’ll have a bone to pick with Sharon. It sounds like Victor may get updates on this whole situation and warn Sharon not to make trouble in Adam’s relationship. Adam needs to be concentrating on Chelsea’s and her recovery right now.

Victor might worry that Sharon will tempt Adam to stray if she gets too close, but Sharon will undoubtedly insist there’s nothing to worry about. Sharon’s happily married to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and doesn’t want to blow up her marriage.

Even so, sometimes the best of intentions can have disastrous results! Victor will surely know this and resolve to keep an eye on Sharon’s link to Adam from now on. Adam will fret over Chelsea not making any real progress, so that’s only going to push him further in supportive Sharon’s direction.

Over with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll have a warning to pass along. Nate will probably feel like Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) track record speaks for itself when it comes to how he treats women.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will get some words of caution from Nate, but she’ll likely give the same old spiel about how Billy has changed. Although Lily will trust Billy, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) seems jealous and will inevitably cause friction. The harder Victoria fights to pull Billy closer, the more concerned Lily may become.

As for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll offer guidance to Victoria and hope for the best. Sharon will also reach out to Nikki in the week ahead. Y&R viewers know Sharon suggested the idea of getting a therapist for Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), but Nick thought it’d be better to ask Nikki.

Sharon wasn’t so sure Faith would really open up to her grandma, but it seems she’ll change her mind. Perhaps Faith will put up a fight on a real therapist and leave Sharon thinking Nikki’s a better confidant after all. Faith loves and trusts her grandmother, so Nikki can create a safe space to be open with each other.

Nikki will soon talk to Faith about the risks of drinking and the dark road she could head down if she keeps this up. Perhaps Nikki can also get to the bottom of Faith’s bullying and why she’s fighting so hard to hang onto her friendship with Jordan (Madison Thompson).

Jordan is pretty much Faith’s only pal left at the moment, so she’s obviously desperate for someone to talk to. Faith has to remain a troublemaker to win Jordan’s approval, which has led to this terrible cycle. Let’s hope Nikki picks up on a few things and pries some info out of her granddaughter.

Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will plan a little gathering to distract Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will join this girls’ night, which will bring a dance party and some laughs at Society.

Abby will find a way to relax and let loose ahead of important news from her gynecologist. Unfortunately, that news won’t be what Abby and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) want to hear. Abby will find out she won’t be able to carry a baby, so that’ll be a difficult blow for them to tackle as a couple.

Elsewhere, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will fish for information about Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) friendship with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).

Elena will see the potential for them to become much more than friends, so she’ll wonder about Devon’s chances at a future with Amanda. It looks like a little jealousy and remorse will still be under the surface for Elena.

As for Amanda, she’ll meet up with Nate to discuss some unfinished business. Nate may accept the Ask MD Now spokesperson offer and go over a new contract with Amanda.

That could bring an opportunity to clear the air about how Nate hurt Amanda in the past. It wasn’t a huge deal since Nate and Amanda’s romance wasn’t too serious, but Nate may still apologize again.

Amanda has bigger problems these days due to birth mom drama, so she might fill Nate in on what’s been going on with Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) and Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose).

Meanwhile, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will welcome a visitor he wasn’t expecting – and it’ll most likely be none other than Gloria Fisher Bardwell (Judith Chapman).

Gloria will be back to stir up more mischief and presumably help Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) take down Victoria – as long as something’s in it for Gloria of course!

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal Gloria never does anything without getting something in return.

Summer Newman (Hunter King) will get dirty details use against Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and will be glad to have Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) from The Bold and the Beautiful as an ally.

Nevertheless, Summer’s playing with fire here – and so is her scheming partner, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).

The Young and the Restless spoilers say some bombshells are brewing in Genoa City, so stay tuned. CDL will have all the scorching Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news you need, so make us your go-to source.
